If Superman were real, do you think he would think of us all as subhumans and ants?

He would be like some sort of virus that strikes the unfortunate and people would go out of their way to appease him / not get noticed.

if we was raised on the farm as a good kid no, if he was in a lab yes, the impact of your upbringing is bigger than any of your personal actions will ever be

Youre barely in control of anything

I'm sure he'd see us as inferior, which is true in that context

Yes. And he would be a trump supporter

'no.'

He kinda sound like The Comedian from The Watchman from what I've seen of him Zig Forums so far.

Absolutely. Let's face it, Superman is just pretending to be the weakling Clark Kent because he sees us that way. He's not one of us, he's an alien from another world.

If the Comedian were a narcissist and cared about his public image, which he very much did not.

>can’t lift the plane because it’s just air underneath
it’s just air underneath when he flies so how does he push himself

I think you spamming threads about an amaozon show 24/7 makes you a subhuman

100%
imagine growing up being smarter, faster, and stronger then anyone else.
Thats not including all the random bs he can do like lazer eyes, flying, frost breath.
Most people would be out raping ppl and doing whatever the fuck they want

This completely dismisses the good people that come from trauma and the evil people who had everything they could want. Childhood does a lot for formation but if you're smart enough and in control of yourself enough you don't have to let it define you, just your struggles.

what a swell guy

Presumably he flies because he can equal the density of air, but air isn't dense enough to equal the density of himself+the plane.
Shit nigga idk I always did bad in physics

>imagine growing up being smarter, faster, and stronger then anyone else.
That's me. I'm not a psycho.

Events arent massive black/white situations, you can be treated to impactful moments that will lead you to being bad during massively good situations and vice versa

Ironically Homelander says the same thing to his public image in the show.
I genuinely liked the parody of Marvel when they had story boards for the movie within a movie and Homelander arrests someone with handcuffs when we've literally never seen these guys arrest anyone

Yes

Was he actually not strong or fast enough to save everyone or did he just not want to bother with them?

Aa you get older you just appreciate Superman genuine personality more.
Younger people prefer edgy people like Batman.

being raised good and becoming good are not mutually exclusive concepts. superman can be either without invalidating the other

He didn't bother, he could have easily saved them.

he simply put pushing vought's agenda ahead of people's lives there

i think he didn't want to bother. could've saved the little girl at least.

Why couldn't he have lasered the top of a mountain off or something and then used that to slow the plane down while standing on it?

True.

Saving one person means they can talk

He wouldn't even bother going there, if he didn't atleast planned to rescue them. He just isn't on Superman's power level. It genuinely looked like he couldn't.

Didn’t they arrest the guys in the first episode after melting the gun on his hand.

When I was a teen in high school the professor asked each person in the class who their favorite superhero is. When I answered “Superman” he rolled his eyes and said “how original” sarcastically. What he doesn’t know is that I chose Superman because of Bill’s monologue about master morality at the end of Kill Bill 2

lel you sound like a faggot

But trannies and millenials told me cops were bad?

t. Slave

why would an alien view humans as subhumans you dummy

in the comic the context was that vought sent the heroes to show off what they could do in a real terrorist situation, hoping to tide people over in their favour and get support to join the military industrial complex. but the whole thing was fucked because of course they had no training dealing with hostage situations or how to maneuver a plane. something similar had happened earlier in WW2 where an earlier generation of Supes got sent to combat and got rekt hard, plus got many soldiers killed (it's part of why Mallory hates supes so much, it was his infantry that got the supes assigned).

the big difference is that in the comic the plane incident was completely covered up, and only a couple people outside of Vought know the Seven were on that plane. oh, and that the plane was actually one of the 9/11 airliners. thanks to Homelander fucking up it destroyed the Brooklyn bridge instead of the WTC. the other planned was gunned down by the air force.

Someone needs to be Batman and kill him if he existed.

How does it feel to know that if this were written today Superman would insult and belittle the cop? This characters ideals mean fuckall because any hack can warp them on a whim.

Wrong. Retard.
Nature versus nurture has been done to death. Just look at all the split twins studies.
Nature is basically your potential and what you naturally have a tendency for. Nurture can only move the needle so far.

>people still think homelander couldn't save the plane if he had any desire to
>people still think he didn't laser the controls on purpose

Bad, because Superman definitely would be a blue lives matter guy considering he likes in bumfuck nowhere.

This applies to literally every fictional character. It applies to most real people too as long as you pay them enough

Probably not unless he was just an asshole. Kryptonians aren't way more intelligent than humans or anything and he only even has his powers because of our sun, he wouldn't have them on krypton I don't think. He was raised very well in a wholesome, structured environment, its stupid how often people talk about how we'd all just be amoeba to him, when he's still so similar to us in most ways.

His parents raised him right.

I like them both, they are friends that are good for each other. Batman is edgy because there is always a part of him that is the 8 year old that lost his parents. Superman is the best friend he could have because not only is Superman good, but he's bulletproof. Batman or Bruce on the other hand, look after Sueprman when Lex Luthor is out to hurt him in ways bullets can't/

To be fair the massive outcry of backlash would prevent that from happening. ACAB is a small, loud minority that gets constant media coverage compared to the silent majority of people who support the police. They would basically be cancelling Superman if DC did that.

Kryptonians wanted to kill all humans and change the earth.
So Superman would be the same if not for the needs of the story.

Homelander lived the first 20 years of his life with a hydrogen bomb strapped to his chest incase he tried to escape. Maybe that doesn't create the best kind of person?

were they fucking?

>Bill’s monologue about master morality at the end of Kill Bill 2

Bill was messed up, he was raised by a pimp.

It was because BIll was messed up that Beatrice understood she couldn't have raised Phoebe with him, however much she loved him. At the end of it all he understood that too.

Depends on genetics and upbringing. Some people are more inclined to good, and others to evil.

Counterpoint: blacks. They chimp out even if raised under the best conditions possible.

Doesn't change his statement, it's ridiculous how insane the world became in 10 years

I know I would
