The creators have exactly the site they wanted, which is basically just twitter for movies. They aren’t catering to people who actual care about analysis or critically thinking about film.
It’s easily much better than IMDb.

no, letterboxd is better because IMDb is shit. It's fine to check some information about the movie but it's not a good site to make a list of the films you watch, or plan to watch, even a notepad is better than IMDb for that purpose.
There's nothing wrong with letterboxd as long as you ignore the reviews, and you should, no matter which site you use. Only retards who can't think for themselves read reviews.
