I can. Blame The Last Jedi
This. And even TROS made less than TLJ, and had lower profit than fucking Rogue One.
TLJ was a shot in the legs of the franchise, and TROS came to strangle the rest of it.
word of mouth was terrible about it, the marketing was absent until just a couple months before release, and no one wants to see a movie about someone who's already dead.
>when a video game cinematic does star wars better than almost 4 decades of the franchise
youtube.com
personally I didn't even know the film was released until several months after, which i guess shows the marketing was shit
I’m surprised soibois didn’t start hating Disney after they fired the Lego movie guys midway through shooting
It's ironic since it's the only good nuwars

There was a long series of "doomed film" news stories since it was a troubled production which didn't help.
It's amazing that this and that the cinematic from that other game (Old Republic or something?) are more creative, interesting and captivating and than huge blockbuster movies that Disney pumped billions into. It's fucking insane.
Soul vs. soulless. Talented passionate people will always create something more interesting than some hacks going through the motions for a paycheck to create something market tested. It doesn't matter what the budget is.
They never learn their lesson. They always go down the so-called safe made-by-committee production route. Yet the results are always poor and tank profitable franchises.
I didn't see it in theater because TLJ made me lose interest in the whole franchise, but I gave Solo a chance when I saw it was on tv recently and it was alright. Nothing special but it's a fun movie that has its moments.
I really liked Solo. Going in you could see how TLJ had compromised the series and Solo suffered for it, which is a shame.
Would have liked to see a sequel out of it but that won't happen now.
Normalfags don't know directors man.
The hell you on?
When the initial report that they turned into an Ace Ventura-esque comedic farce and completely disregarded the script they were hired to direct for came out, basically everyone agreed they were retards. It's why there was never a "GIVE US THE LORD AND MILLER CUT" movement- no one wants to see Han Solo acting like a parody of himself
I had no idea Kathleen posted on Zig Forums
What are they doing in Toe Rogaine's studio??
are you implying I'm a Disney shill because I don't wanna see a bunch of actors doing shitty comedy skits in a Star Wars movie (which is what ruined movies like Thor Ragnarok)? hahaha holy fuck please go back to r/MCU
>soiboi = normalfag
nope
there no Lord and Miller cut campaign because they were fired well before shooting was finished, their cut would be 20 minutes and some storyboards, big brain
TLJ completely killed the franchise, man.
As we walked out of the theater after seeing it, some friends and I decided to never spend money on such utter shit again. I only pirated Solo months after it released, it was meh. RO is the only fun new film.
Haven't even seen TROS, probably never will.
Fuck Disney, JJ and Rian for killing one of my favourite childhood series.
The Last Jedi had the biggest week drop of all cinema history, Solo was unlucky enough to come out a few months after TLJ
Tlj was such a piece of shit no one wanted to see the next movie that’s why , it made the phantom menace look like a fucking masterpiece
>literallyme.jpg
>kill han solo
>now watch the prequel with some random playing him
>disney fires Phil Lord and Christopher Miller
>disney expecting anything but a failure
lol this shit still makes me laugh
Cuz the last jedi was utter garbage
>Bad release window (May).
>Just after Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released.
>Extensive reshoots.
>Bad publicity.
I mean there were literally articles about how they needed acting coaches on set.
Because it was dumb. Nothing but them cramming memberberries into a wicker basket of a script so bad even Ron Howard couldn't salvage it. It was insulting to even sit through, watching every seminal moment of Han Solo's life occur in the space of about two weeks, oh, and it's NOT EVEN HIS REAL FUCKING NAME.
Fuck this. Fuck that. Fuck Disney.
It was actually the best thing Disney put out. You're just a dumb kike who never grew up with starwars. Go watch tlj retard.
No. Blame TFA. TLJ wouldn’t have bombed if people actually went. Most of us real fans gave TFA a chance and then never went back.
Because they weren't concerned with making a good movie. They literally wanted a Han Solo trilogy. So the film went throught a series of beats.
Looks like shit and is filled with diversity, just like all Disney nuWars productions.
I think it's sad that people think TFA is the only good movie in this trilogy.
Really goes to show that today's audiences are mindless morons that just want remake after remake.
Strawman. Anyone who grew up with Star Wars knew Han Solo's lore, and this was a slap in the face.
