The biggest complaint from a SJW NPR reviewer was that the main heroine was too perfect and doesn't allow other characters to succeed on their own.

The writers really know their Star Trek lore and the peril situations are spot-on. If you can deal with the fact that some of the characters don't belong in Star Fleet and some others are borderline incompetent it's fine.

It's mediocre. It would be amazing if it was a fan web series in the 00s but there's little substance to it and I've yet to laugh.

It's fucking bad. All the action is 100% weightless, so the show is chugging along on the dialog. The dialog isn't terrible in and of itself, but every character is YELLING AND SAYING THEIR LINES ASFASTASPOSSIBLE like they're trying to give you a headache.

The characters have one trait each and they announce it SUPERLOUDANDFAST in every scene and it just goes on and on and on.

It's a good way to make 30 minutes seem like an hour. PS Star Trek 'lore' and 'canon' is retarded bullshit and if you care about either one of them you should write a letter of apology to your parents and then pound a tent stake into your eyeball.

So far it's pretty good. At least they don't spit on everything Trek like STD and SPT.
It is a cartoon however. If you go into it expecting TNG, you are a fucking moron.
