I tried watching this but i just couldn't get into it. Dropped it at the tournament arc. the dialogue seemed really shallow, the plot very predictable and the fighting scenes/mechanics way over focused.

Delusional hetfags. The only reason they get along is because they want to fuck each other. Gon is an animal wearing human skin and Killua is a sociopath starved for intimacy. Everything about them is sex-driven.

It's an incredibly shallow series. Same as any other shonen. They manage a couple of twists that are kind of interesting, but it never goes further than "we can't kill the bad guy so here's nippon nuclear weapon." You're not missing out. It hit the normalfag radar, that's all.

the fight between hisoka and that one guy sucked, but the rest of the show gets incredible.

The chimera ant arc is where it shines.

Tried to follow Dark Continent then got tired and left. Didn't really care for all the setup or anything of the series, was a bit interested in Pariston and Gin but they weren't as interesting as previous characters. Is it any good or nah?

Bro I hate this relationship so much. There's almost no distinct dialogue between them, half the time they may as well be the same character until Chimera Ant.

Current arc has the potential to be amazing but who knows if it will ever be finished.
