Can someone explain to me what the fuck this movie even is? I don't give a damn about the controversy because I'm not watching anyway. Just give me the rundown on the plot so I can pretend that I've seen it in conversations.

I've downloaded and skimmed through it, only to be disappointed by the lack of cunny's barefeet.

The children in this movie are real 11-year-old girls. They are not CGI. They are not animated. They are not adults or even older girls dressed up to look like younger girls. They are real 11-year-old girls.

They were dressed up in revealing costumes and taught how to dance like strippers. They were taught to twerk. They were told to straddle each other, caress each others' buttocks, to go down on all fours and then put their fingers between their legs, to pretend to have sex with the floor, to suck their fingers while they caressed their own genitals. Children were told to do this. Then they were filmed doing all these things for a movie to be released internationally, with closeups. Again, these are children. How could they consent to such an activity, let alone even understand what they were being asked to do? How could they make any judgement at all about whether or not they wanted videos of themselves doing such acts captured on film and spread around the world, to exist for all time? This is pure child sexual exploitation, and you want me and other people to watch this and support it. You even make edits to Wikipedia pages based on this view.

The filmmakers spent six months auditioning 650 girls just for the main character. What do you think they had these children do for the auditions, just read few lines? Didn't they need to find out if they were going to be able to twerk properly? That they had the right body type for the skimpy outfits they had in mind? Hundreds and hundreds of 11-year-old girls. This is truly disgusting, and it boggles the mind when people like you can ignore the experience of the real children involved and say, "Just watch the film, the message is so great."

Movie had a message about how the internet has corrupted the youth and created degeneracy and how kids are pressured into acting like adults (whether those adults are their strict parents or the thot shaking her ass on tiktok) and are not able to enjoy an actual childhood in the modern age. Media attacked the movie and buried its message. It covers topics a lot darker than just girls twerking, and while some people say it should’ve been a book, in the modern age it’s hard to get people to read and an outrageous movie like that should’ve been able to get people’s attention. If people are outraged by the content in the movie, they should also be outraged by what’s going on in their society today

An African woman who immigrated to France wrote it as a sort of clash of cultures plot about how sexualized consumerism corrupts their children while their own people are perhaps too concerned with tradition.

Then they had perverts direct and film it filling it with gratuitous crotch shots. So the perverts get to claim its cool because a black woman wrote it and she's not a pervert.

basically it's a coming-of-age story about a young girl that gets swayed by degenerate western culture (opposed to her traditional muslim upbringing) in part due to the pressures of social media and expectations of women as portrayed by popular media. in the end she chooses to abandon the dancing (degeneracy) in favor of returning to the simple life of a child, and resumes playing with other young girls.

The movie is pedo bait to get a bunch of 11 year old girls to send in audition videos so they could distribute those videos later to other pedos. This was essentially the advertising video for it.

Because the scenes themselves are repellent. People use "context" and "intention" to justify the decisions made, but in a world where literally EVERYONE owns editing equipment (i.e. a COMPUTER) those scenes are going to be clipped and shared around by perverts on the internet with NO context, because the perverts don't care.

notice how early on in the movie she gets a phone? and that's the reason she gets into the group? the phone is there during the whole film

is it good movie? no. did they go overboard with the crotch shots? sure. but i like some of themes in this but they weren't executed properly imo.

This, the movie had such deep tones, the clash of cultures, the clash between immigrants and western media excesses, the complete lack of direction adults give children, the results in lack of parenting, the inherent misogyny of old women.
