I believe what happened here is that Morrison’s who do sell a 5 pack of eggs, presumably for picnics or lunch snacking for lazy or busy people. Ordered in too many bags like this from their suppliers and are trying to offload them before they go bad.

You don't have to sneak food into theaters. Every theater will let you bring in whatever food you want. When I was in high school, my friends and I would go to Taco Bell or Burger King or whatever, take out food, and bring it into the theaters all the fucking time. They didn't give one single fuck.
