At the end of the day, if you're a white guy getting shot by the cops, you're not going "oh well, statistically, my race isn't getting shot quite as much when you play mental gymnastics and play with the numbers to fit you're narrative, so I'm perfectly fine dying" so it doesn't fucking matter. Police brutality isn't a race issue in reality, but BLM wants to play race politics even though the easiest way to end police brutality is to point out that EVERYONE is a victim of it. Yep. They're told all their lives that every white person is racist. It's why there's so much racial discord: because blacks go into every single interaction with a white person with a huge chip on their shoulder.
It's the same with blacks and cops: they're fed garbage about how every cop wants them dead, so whenever they encounter a cop, they give them lip, they resist, they try to run away, and they wind up getting killed when, if they had just cooperated, they would have probably survived the encounter. In this way, Black Lives Matter is actually getting blacks killed.
