Not for everybody. I've been drinking whiskey daily for years now and for the most part haven't had a problem. Sure I might have a few days where I drink a little too much and keep to myself and cloak my scent with cigarette smoke at work the next day but I'm miles better than when I was injecting heroin.

Not the guy you replied to but he is right. I had two non blood related close family members die from liver failure in the past few years. It starts suddenly and gets bad fast.

I had my first alcoholic drink in February, and since then, I've been binging many times a week. I've become an alcoholic during quarantine. How badly is my liver damaged at this point? Over what timeframe do I need to wean off to avoid withdrawals? I'm scared.
