How many careers will this movie kill?
Oliver Phillips
Cooper Brown
Mate, I think you're on the wrong board.
Jonathan Hill
...
Nathan Martinez
The only career a film should kill is the leads on the production team, and only when it is obvious their errors were not just a set of ordinary mistakes and miscalculations but the result of striking incompetence or actual bad faith. Blaming actors for bad films is stupid unless it is specifically the performance that spoiled a film, and even then you had better know that they had a working environment free of bullshit, a director and friends who gave effective direction and didn't tolerate weak takes, and an editor who used the right damned takes. Even then half the time is not the actor who tried their best in a role they are just not meant to do, but the idiot who fucked up by casting them. If you cast, say, Nick Cage and act surprised that he's delivering opera-power-level performances in your moody crime noir that shit's your own fault.
Also, to go Zig Forums.
Caleb Fisher
None. In Hollywood, you fail upward.
Ian Allen
Not the first time someone's posted to the wrong board
Jace Mitchell
Holland may skate by since he's Spiderman, and he's fantastic in The Devil All The Time. Ridley is fucked, though.
Levi Campbell
I don't know what board you came from, but you have a better understanding of the industry than the industry itself and Zig Forums
Brayden Brown
>Charlie Kaufman
So what solipsistic shit will this have
Hudson Long
Based.
Cameron Jones
>doug liman
didn't he do the cruise video game movie? that was decent
Nathaniel Sanchez
Daisy's for sure. Holland will continue with being iron man jr. but may hardly get other roles besides that later. Daisy is finished. And that's a good thing.
Adam Carter
No career. Ridley has an Oscar bait and Holland two.
Lincoln Watson
He wrote the first draft, now there are like seven writing credits.
Joseph Green
also Jumper with Hayden Christensen.
Jonathan Turner
the new Netflix movie is kino.
Grayson Hughes
...
Josiah Kelly
Daisy has a movie with The Wife director though.
Jeremiah Nguyen
None because none of those actors have any career to ruin
William Jones
Holland is Nathan Drake
William Roberts
Holland is on a successful trend now. Uncharted, Cherry and The Devil All The Time. He has a career unlike the girl.
Charles Edwards
I loved the series when i was a kid. I think Holland is a good fit for the kid, not sure about Ridley. They're both supposed to be teenagers though so I'm not sure how this will pan out
Chase Perry
They aged them up. Is the book even famous? Like Hunger Games famous?
Tyler Russell
No but it won some awards
Mason Jones
What board do you think this is?
David Edwards
I'd say it's a Tier 2 YA series, it's obviously not Hunger Games/Divergent levels of popularity but it's well regarded enough.
Been a decade or so since I've read the trilogy but I'm fairly sure the protagonist was supposed to be 13/14 and the whole Coming Of Age/Puberty theme was fairly prevalent. Obviously isn't going to work as well with older characters
Owen Williams
what board was this on originally?
Ian Jenkins
Lol what is he, 4ft tall?
Joseph Harris
Holland is an absolute shit actor and the only people who think he is a good actor is because they think he looks like an underage twink
Angel Wood
/tg/
Colton Powell
Watch The Devil All The Time on Netflix. He's brilliant.
Caleb Taylor
Lmao, they got Tom Holland for Nathan Drake?
Robert Roberts

Leo Scott
Hopefully everyone's
Jaxson Phillips

Samuel Turner
