Is there any good Israeli films, or movies set here in general?

Globalism - The final empire

All films are Israeli films

I enjoyed The Lobby

Waltz with bachir is shit. Any Levantophile knows how the 1982 invasion really went down (lots more bombing of civilians, and Israeli ground forces getting fucked up)

Foxtrot was nice

I too was watching sbs world movies

for me, it's Lovesick Alex
>At first, Alex falls in love with Mimi, the new girl in his class. Everything changes, however, when his aunt Lola arrives in Israel from Poland to search for a lost love with whom she once lived but who vanished after the Nazi invasion of Poland. Alex falls for his aunt and she responds by providing the soon-to-be 13-year-old with more than familial love.

If there's a sequel to BumbleBee, it should be set in Israel

IDF had an amazing kill death ratio in the 1982 war, they basically destroyed the Syrian Air Force in a single battle over the Bekaa Valley. They dominated the PLO-PSP-Syrian coalition in almost all of the land battles they fought. The Phalange would still be in control of the country if the SSNP didn’t assassinate Bashir

yeah they destroyed 1/3 of the Syrian airforce without losing a single fighter. fucking embarassing.
obviously the k/d is kind of fucked, as Israelis thought every palestinian they murdered was PLO.
True about Bachir. RIP. he was based. 10452.

I once got forced to watch an israeli movie against my will
I don't remember the name but it was about a bunch of girls doing military service. It actually kept my attention till the end, not the worst movie I've seen.

Black panter, is also set in a country that does not exist

Yeah I'm pretty sure thats the one.

Red Sea Diving Resort because they picked 10/10 Goy Chris Evans to play a Jew and Ashkenazi like Hayley Bennett to play the utter gargoyles who were there IRL.

the passion of the christ

somehow I think the number of user ratings would be more appropriate if I took mine away

The Kingdom of Heaven.
The theatrical release if okay, but the Director's Cut makes it a good film.
It has some inaccuracies, big and small, but I personally like it.

On a technicality, you could say Sorcerer.
