>All I can see is the owl. But I know it's not an owl.
All I can see is the owl. But I know it's not an owl
this movie spooked me good
That movie was bone-chiling.
>using fake real footage
I remember thinking "wtf how is this shit not all over the news", then I googled it and was disappointed
>I AM GOD
cringe dialogue
Watched this kino by myself in an empty theater.
Good movie made even better by triggering xfags.
Reminder that "real" alien abductions and UFO visions are what the human mind makes up to cope with horrific child abuse by MKULTRA, Tavistock and the likes
watched this when i was 12 and i couldnt sleep properly for weeks
They should make a movie with reenactments, fake "found footage", and even lower quality fake found footage that's meant to be the real found footage, keep the audience guessing.
I was spooked. The ending monologue had me shook as well.
Same, I was a gullible teen.
And infant circumcision.
Literally an owl.
The OWLs aren't what they seem...
the owl really triggered me like no other "monster design" I have ever seen in a movie
I know the movie isnt very good but for some reason that fucking owl fucks me up in a big way
Or was it?
Have you ever experienced an unexplainable loss of time or weird markings on your body, maybe a pain in the butthole?
unironically get butthole pains ever since i was a kid and i do expereience loss of time but i feel like thats because of drugs
Unironically experienced this like last week. Still have the markings, give me a minute and I'll take pics
>The ending monologue had me shook as well.
Yeah, the ending bit by the alien is great.
when I was a kid I clearly remember little white shiny people crawling on my bed.. Every time it happened, the day after I had a fever. I never told anyone
Why are ayyy's so spooky user
>Watch this movie with my cousin and her bf at our friends place
>Driving us all back to my place later that night
>Going down a dark back road
>Suddenly there's an owl sitting in the middle of the road
>Try to slow down in time, owl just flys right up over the hood of my car
>OH SHIT I THINK I HIT THAT OWL
>Cousin is freaking out, hey bf is laughing saying it's not an owl! It's not an owl!
>Turn around real quick, I like owls and wanted to make sure it was okay
>Cousin keeps telling me fuck that and keep going, this is how people die in the movies
>Drive back and the owl is no where to be found, I must've missed it
>Rest of the drive home we're all laughing saying "it's not an owl! IT'S NOT AN OWL!!"
Kinda weird experience especially after just watching that movie. Movie was okay, but I thought the putting the "real" footage next to the actors was retarded.
owls are scary but I was just on my balcony smoking and two hawks started circling me getting lower and lower then they started screeching as they got above me
I just moved in I think maybe they got territorial or something
this It was close to peak alien-kino. Dark skies is another good one.
American Horror story did a found footage meta series.
First you had faked dramatization events of a haunted house, then you had the actors from the dramatization (alongside the people they played) go back for a reality show and the found footage kicks in.
As with most AHS series, it lost steam once all the mystery was gone.
Any other good alien movies? Particularly, alien abductions. I plan on watching Fire in the Sky.
Communion
anyone else find this not scary at all?
Dark skies is very good.
>that early X-Files episode about alien abductions where the UFO enthusiast gets abducted
It's probably rubbish now but it terrified me as a kid when it first aired.
Why were you with your cousin and her bf that’s a little weird don’t you think?
Nome, Alaska looks nothing like in the movie for one.
>unironically get butthole pains ever since i was a kid
You may want to see a therapist.
