Well, it was built and flown. Witnessed by thousands. There are actual physical examples laying around several places. Design documents are scattered everywhere among multiple contractors and whatever engineer/technician took them home with them to keep a piece of history. They could literally disassemble one, and they have -- to produce design documents for a replica. The problem is that the F1 was designed in the fucking 60's without computer flight controllers, fluid dynamic software to design, or modern materials science with fucking SLIDE RULES you dipshit. There's absolutely no reason to remake an outdated engine.
