even Rotten Tomatoes, an infamously soft and easy critics rating site, gave the film a 49%. its widely considered a box office bomb. the mouse's internals wanted 1.5B-2B and it only made 1B. only a matter of time before dust settles and everyone finally admits it was pretty disastrously bad. if it didn't have the star wars name, its true score would probably be 20% on RT.

It was easily the weakest sequel and a fucking mess of a movie, but it was watchable and entertaining. I can't say that about TPM and AOC, these movies are so fucking bad I just can't fucking finish them. Saying TROS is actually worse than both of those is a ridiculous claim.
