The movies themselves are just always disappointing considering they have cool premises.

My personal favourite is Videodrome. It has a great concept and its presentation is so grimy and gritty and gross its fantastic but the movie itself just meanders on and in the end isn't really that good as a whole despite some great scenes and ideas.
