Seasons 1 and 2, while still just as dark and serious in their own right, lean a bit more readily into black comedy than I feel like the later seasons did. The show also just felt more down to earth and intimate when it was just about two dudes cooking in an RV and scuffling with lower-level Cartel enforcers, no superlabs or super-druglords. I know Four Days Out has become a meme recently, for some god damn reason, but it really is a great episode because it exemplifies the absolute best traits of early Breaking Bad.

its a cool show to watch, and the earlier seasons are definitely the most fun. before it became billionaire drug kingpins and literal nazis. its not a top 5 or even top 10 show ever made, but its a good, at times great, show.

if you've not seen a show and you walk into a thread talking about it, especially a show that's been out of air for 7 years, i'm not sure what you were expecting really. it probably wasn't that intelligent.
