a terrible remake of wrath of khan
Another reason why JJ should not be given full creative control over something.
Wrath of Khan except soulless.
This Khan was lame.
A Universe where every fucking planet is just 5 minutes away
Dumbed down action flick for the adhd generation who only cares abouy
T flashy light and loud noises with a braindead plot that lets even a retard follow along.
so Tribbles have human blood?
Remember when Benedryl Cucumbersnatch was popular?
KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
You're lame! You... you Lamehead!
Thats called a JJ bait and switch remake because hes a talentless hack.
Bridge looks like a Hotel Bar.
FILTERED
what made it good user?
Fun fact, this scene literally comes at almost the exact halfway point in the movie. It was put there to maintain interest all the way up to the end of the movie. Still though user outside of a few frames what made the movie good to you?
Coomersnatch performance was alright
the torpedo switcheroo in the end
the blind jump from ship to ship
the evil ship catching up at warp speed
overall I think it's decent, still prefer the 1st one though
Sci Fi Kino
all these things you mentioned have occurred in earlier Star Trek episodes and movies.
youtu.be
Yeah, that's called the Star Trek Universe
haven't watched any of them
I can't believe they write out Bones and makes Uhura do his shit, what trash.
Wrath of Khan minus
>The Context
>The intelligence
>The emotional nuance
>The suspense
Basically just recycled references because JJ is a fucking hack.
Ok, so
Khan invents a long range torpedo. Causes a terrorist attack to get the Federation council to convene Shoots it up and hides on Q'onos so that the Federation will be forced to his own torpedos, which he hid his family inside. He also must have bet that whoever was sent after him wouldn't actually shoot the torps at him.
But Admiral Robocop knew about the torpedo switchout and expected them to be launched at Khan, killing all the Augments. But he didn't expect Kirk to not fire them so, he uses the Vengeance to kill Kirk but not also start the war with the Klingons which was the goal in the first place
What the fuck was Admiral Robocop's plan? Does anything of this shit makes sense?
we already know you have terrible taste user, you seem to like a shitty movie that uses bad writing disguised as a "mystery" to trick you into believing the plot makes sense
>My name is... Khan.
>...
That scene was so fucking dumb. There's no reason why Kirk should react but Khan says it like he just dropped a nuke.
Kirk should have been "... K. We have like 10 crewman named Khan".
From what I could gather
>Khan hid his boys in the torpedos
>Khan hides on Q'onos
>Robocop knows about the torpedo switcheroo
>Wants Kirk to fire Torpedos at Khan on Q'onos
>But Torpedos also are doing a thing where they shut down the Enterprise engines
>So the idea being the Enterprise would nuke part of Q'onos, the Klingons would get pissed, attack the Enterprise
>War were declared
But why the rigamaroll? Why not just go bomb the Klingons if you're so eager for war?
Also how did he have an entire crew on the Vengeance that was willing to commit war-crimes with him?
Also it feels like a lot of
>Everybody anticipates everybody else's move until drama calls for them not to
It's all retarded and nonsensical.
Cold fusion obviously makes things cold. It's science.
>Also how did he have an entire crew on the Vengeance that was willing to commit war-crimes with him?
Also
>has an entire crew of war criminals
>instead sends young captain with a history of ignoring direct orders in order to do what he feels is right
He sent the one guy who wouldn't pull the trigger when he had his own ship standing by to clean up the mess.
>"Hello young Spock"
>"Did you ever meet in your travels an individual named "Khan"?
>"I can't tell you things that might affect your future... But anyways here's his full name and how we beat him in the past"
Also:
>Khan was the greatest adversary the Enterprise ever faced
Not reaaally though...?
>war were declared
Watch less futurama
something that should have died a long long time ago
When I saw this in theaters someone yelled "fuck you" when that happened. I remember they hadn't confirmed the villain was khan and people were really hoping it wouldn't be.
>Young Spock? It's me, Old Spock. Sorry I don't feel like going to the studio so I'll do the conversation through Skype
>Not reaaally though...?
Exactly. This shows how much Kurtzman is a poseur and have never watched Trek.
More.
JJ straight up said that he wasn't Khan.
>hadn't confirmed the villain was khan
I thought they outright denied it because people called it from the first trailer?
she'd look so much better with like 10 more lbs on her frame
What happens when you try to turn Star Trek into Star Wars
