If by better you mean inferior characters, inferior stories and just far more generic and forgettable

haha not really no
was I the only one who thought Dr. Weir and Sheppard treated each other like mother and son?

It's underappreciated for sure, but better is a big stretch amigo.

nah
I like season 1's isolated and limited resources atmosphere. Sheppard and McKay's relationship was fun, though it's just an adaption of O'Neill/Jackson
The Wraith weren't all that interesting but at least in S1 they were an actual threat, even just one of them

SG-1 Season 10 was the best of all

Better? Not better than SG1 S01-07. Teyla was vapid, Ronan Dex was meh, Woolsey was a cool Director, Sheppard was Jack-Lite but cool (Vegas was his best), McKay really came into it S03 and on, Jewel bogged down things. Carson should've stayed dead.
Todd+Sheppard was great.
The renegade Asgard and The Travellers were very cool and needed more time.

all correct
good post

>le evil assgard and generic space refugees

wow soo coooollll

They weren't evil Asgard and The Travellers weren't refugees, idiot. But you get a (You) so feel good about yourself.

Considering it could just have been a super cheap cash grab built on the success of SG1, it wasn't too bad.
Heard it got pretty good later. Would hope so, they had fucking Carlyle.

they literally were evil assguard retard how are they not? Another stupid idea from when the show went to shit.

Yes.
I wanted them to get together

A+
Who made you the arbiter of moral standing
in regards to a dying species and their methods of safeguarding the future of their race?

I didn't necessarily want that to happen. It wouldn't have worked out.
Weir just had a more maternal manner of command as opposed to Hammond's paternal manner. Probably because Weir wanted to be a mother and Hammond was already a grandfather

I wanted to fuck Weir.

Literally everyone I know IRL who watches the show agrees and only because they say that sg1 "looks like shit" cgi/setting wise (and because the wrath >> gooould). Only boomer retards and autists actually think SG1 is better

me too, she was definitely a mommy

>Who made you the arbiter of moral standing
who made you? the writers clearly wanted to make them "evil" by making them the antagonist. Its just shit writing, stop trying to cope

He was literally the only good part of it

Stargate Universe should have been named Stargate: Assholes in Space. Soap opera garbage masquerading as science fiction. I started rooting for them all to die. Parody became reality. "I'm pregnant.” Teengate Universe.

I'm not the one calling them evil, nor am I calling them good. They were morally ambiguous. Step away from the professional wrestling mindset of there always having to be a good and bad guy conflict. Try watching some nature documentaries instead of your manchild soap operas.

Also, if they didn't have those stupid stones.
The second season looked like they were turning a corner.

Not that guy but come on, this is stargate. nuance isn't to be found. they're for all intents and purposes "evil asgards"

>but come on, this is stargate. nuance isn't to be found.
Chased from their galaxy by Replicators, on the verge of extinction, only to find the Pegasus has mutant vampires AND Replicators...their "evil" deed is putting a kill switch on hyperspace travel and Stargate use?
Yeah, I am pushing the levels of biological imperatives and morality on SG...but hey, the Asgard in SG1 genocided their Replicators.

The writers literally wrote them to be reddit teir "evil" and did a shit job at it period. Quit it with the mental gymnastics, you are wrong accept it. I can literally see steam coming out of your little head faggot nature boy

No.
And I even bought the Atlantis Blu-rays.

I do enjoy Rodney, and that episode where Shepard gets transported to the future with an Old Rodney hologram made me cry manly tears.
