>What do you do?
>I baby drive
What do you do?
>Zoomer listening to 60s/70s R&B
I found this element quite cringe-inducing.
reddit: the movie
>Driving while listening music
Isn't that distracting?
This was the biggest cringe fest I’ve ever seen with deadpool being a close second
great movie
The Dre𝔞m Will Re𝔞ppe𝔞r Nov. 5th. You Will Ascend.
How so? Anyone can listen to any kind of music. It would also be quite a shit movie if Deborah walked into the diner singing the lyrics to WAP. It's not an amazing movie but it isn't pure shit except for a few moments.
This movie seriously feels like a bunch of Reddit wrote the script, everything about it is so forced and cringe
while driving a manual nonetheless, how is he gonna tell when to shift if he can't hear the engine? looking at the revs counter while driving dangerously isn't wise
>a bunch of Reddit
fucking kek
It's le "born in the wrong generation" mentality and I hate it, in fact, I hate zoomers in general
>How so? Anyone can listen to any kind of music.
Well no shit, however it seems forced to me like the filmmaker grew up in the 70s listening to that music and thought "haha what if the young male protagonist was enlightened and listened to GOOD MUSIC like me!"
Im a millennial and I listen mostly to classic rock and nineties grunge, age doesn’t define music tastes
cringe
You're right, anyone of any age can be a boring pleb who listens to dadrock and Nirvana
>age doesn’t define music tastes
It should.
I mean more soundgarden, stone temple pilots, pearl jam, and Alice in chains but okay
How is that boring? It’s good music. I listen to other shit too, those are just my staples. I like some modern metal as well but most of it is cringe.
What do you listen to faggot
Because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the person himself
Tell me what you listen to then so I can leave a one word mocking response to it
Do americans really believe this?
The movie would have been better if Baby was blind
Music is for women and effeminate, snivelling little feelbois. Real men listen to the sounds of nature, or silence.
I just find that kind of music tepid and forgettable. Either I want something really rootsy like John Prine or Hank III or something extreme like Belphegor or Conan. Regular ass rock is so boring to me, I do love some bands like Roxy Music, XTC, The Ramones. But for the most part when I hear classic rock it puts me to sleep
Reddit the movie.
kek fucking americans
Listening to old music is one thing. Trying hard like that faggot in the movie was cringe.
God i hate Wiggers.
I never got that vibe. People make fun of him for listening to music constantly but never for what he listens to in the movie. Like bats never says "now here's some good music" then puts on "I'm a sick fuck" by Kanye or anything. It always just seemed more like that was the music the director liked. It never seemed like he was pompous about it.
No. That mentality isn't present in the film whatsoever. They just listen to music, there's no all music today is trash kinda speech. I liked a lot of the songs in it but I didn't go and make it a personality, I just add them to my liked songs on Spotify which has Jake Bugg, Scissor Sisters and Oliver Heldens. The music was just pretty cool but new music can be pretty cool too.
Do Americans really
Its really not that hard.
The thing i thought was gay was they are robbing a bank and he is sitting in the car with ear pods in.
The getaway driver is supposed to be the eyes and ears outside the bank. Listening for police sirens etc.
Instead he sits there listening to music like a fag.
Lmao
>this is what Americans actually believe
You don't need to hear it, you know when you need to change
Literally why? The list of artists I've listened to that were active in my lifetime is miniscule, probably 3. There is less good or passable music now than there was 40 or 50 or 60 years ago.
Terrible movie. Plays out like an internet copypasta full of memes.
>what do you do?
>i shitpost
>o-oh oka-
>CONSTANTLY
