Does digging coal together really create this kind of camaraderie? Or was "dug coal together" a euphemism for something?

It all depends on how much you value honest hard work.
it means double teaming a black woman
Is this show good? I watched a few episodes and I really don't like the main character, the rednecks carried it.
Isn't it supposed to be dark and scary and dangerous? I saw a documentary of some guys almost suffocating down there.
kek beat me to it
It's code for them serving in the marines together
Go down in a pit and risk your life everyday with someone for table scraps and the knowledge you are killing yourself while you do it. You'll have your answer.
We posted on Zig Forums together.
doug cole was their childhood gay friend that hey both fucked
They both came from the same shitty, hard, desperate background. Started in the same place, with similar amounts of talent, brains, resources. I think they see a lot of themselves in each other. I think it's a bit of brotherhood, and a bit of "there but for the grace of god go I."
It's like "the baker in the mineshaft".
Well I see he's a prisoner so I'll assume they fucked each other in the ass, metaphor checks out
>automatically think about assfucking homos when you see a picture
Leave the closet or neck yourself in it already faggot.
Is that Timmy the Elephant or Josh The Camel?
that line was actually ad-libbed by Goggins
Ah ha ha, raylan givens, as I live and breathe. To what do I owe the pleasure?
Just read it in his voice, what kind of magic is this
Why'd he grenade Lem? It wasn't necessary when the dude was loyal.
>don't like the main character
Nigga what? Timothy carries the show.
YOU'RE JUST A NIGGER WITH A FAGGOT NIGGER SON
yeah at least keep watching till boyd becomes a main character. raylan is just filler
It was the only option he had, lem was a retard who wouldn't just go along with the plan. plus that dipshit burnt the god damn money
is this actually a good show
as in, does it remain consistently good throughout all seasons or is it one of those "meh" shows to pass the time
it has its bright spots, but don't expect the Sopranos
The best thing the show has going for it is that it's honest. Raylan is kind of an asshole and Boyd is a huckster, and the show doesn't try to hide or play down those facts. It doesn't pretend to be "prestige TV" or try to make some grand point about the characters.
Overall it's campy and fun and you'll see basically every single well known character actor show up to get shot/blown up at some point.
quality varies s5 is the low point because of michael rapaport. overall it's a comparable to the shield in quality, the main characters are great but some minor characters are shit but then some other minor characters are superb and make up for it
the characters in it have more chemistry than any other characters ive seen in a show
its just fun
up until the final scene, the viewer is supposed to believe that they actually just dug coal together. the way in which they discuss the 'coal digging' at the end reveals that it was in fact a euphemism all along and that they used to be lovers
RAYMOND GIBBUNS
AS I LIVE AND BREATHE COAL
are coal miners really broke in america? any job in coal in australia you're getting 150k easy
They're pretty much just the rightwing version of teachers. Small vocal group with outsized influence.
