ONE PIECE NETFLIX

How could One Piece ever be adapted to live action? It seems like the most unadaptable thing ever.

Poorly

someone post it

It will be kino and you're not a real one piece fan if you disagree with Oda

no amount of supervision from Oda can change the fact that everything in this universe will look absolutely retarded and awful in live action

It could be done with a billion dollar budget and kino cast

So basically never gonna happen

Are they making a live action One Piece? Holy shit it’s gonna be bad if Netflix does it

I can't wait for it to come out! More anime adaptions please. Adapt them all already, Netflix!

yes
and it is with netflix
they already have the whole contract and everything done, and oda is involved (as an executive or supervisor or some shit)
it was going to go into the earliest stages of production this year and start casting but covid happened

>stop gatekeeping anime

BAME

>One Piece
>Death Note
>Fullmetal Alchemist
>Steins;Gate in development
>Ghost in The Shell
>Dragon Ball Evolution
>Sword Art Online in development
>Attack on Titan in development at WB
>One Punch Man in development at Sony
>Promised Neverland in development at Amazon
Literally what will Netflix do next?

>One Piece with half the cast being niggers.

No thanks.

Don't forget Cowboy Bebop starring a black Jet, a small latina and a 50 year old korean

>Black Jet Black
>Faye was said to be de-sexualized aka she'll be super uggo even with a cute actress
>Literally Spike is 25-26, why is he suddenly 50?

don't forget the new avatar the last airbender series they want to do (which the creators left because netflix wanted them to turn everyone into mutts and have sex scenes)

Darling in The Franxx, but the robots get redesigned into knockoffs of Michael Bay's Transformers.

>have sex scenes
I'm sorry, fucking what? Why, Amazon wanted to do this with their LOTR show too.

Why do streaming services have to sexify everything?

at least it can't be as bad as netflix's death note

still surprised they didn't cast nami as a black woman

kill yourself. mommy robin would never be involved in this degenerate shit

Stop gatekeeping anime.

Why do American movie producers think adapting anime is going to be a success?

Its only a matter of time before they get so desperate they adapt Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.

because americans think they can do everything better than anyone in the world, and that they know better

They know whoever successfully does it first will have a gold mine. Their own Marvel/Star Wars/consoom property

It's already in production you double negro

American producers are always 10 years backwards at what's trend nowdays.
In 2030 they'll start making TikTok films

This is probably their best casting

>in production
>without a cast or writing crew

You'd think they'd at least try to get something much easier to adapt like Death Note right first before trying something a million times harder to adapt into live-action. Try monster or Steins; Gate even. This is like skipping to the final boss when you're not even level one. I wish they would've at least tried to adapt some other shounen before One Piece to work out some kinks, this might turn out worse than Batman and Robin.

This, they're still trying to get a Minecraft movie off the ground.

kind of hilarious that somehow everyone keeps fucking up Death Note

Code Geass but Schneizel is a proud Latinx son of the Emperor who 'loves' his family but resents his white half-brother LeLouch.

True, for example this is how the Five Nights at Freddy's movie ended being, they couldn't get the rights so they used the same shitty script but on these Hannah Barbara forgotten show.
Disastrous movie btw, yet it has all the human color races possible in it.
