he should remove the helmet now it was fun in the begining but its started to look wierd/retarded in dialogues now
He should remove the helmet now it was fun in the begining but its started to look wierd/retarded in dialogues now
why did they make such a retarded decision in the first place? every star wars media i've ever seen has them take their helmets off
b-b-b-but "da wae"
Yeah. It's a shitty deal for Pedro Pascale too. I kind of feel sorry for the guy. He's a good actor and having to limit his expressions to voice tone and body language is a waste of his talents. It makes me want him to quit the role just so he can star in something where I can see his face.
Wasn't he threatening to quit earlier this year if he didn't get to take his helmet off more?
Boohoo, I have to actually put in some effort now. Why are actors such cry babies?
i think that was just a rumor. i doubt he would've signed on if they never told him flatly "this character never takes his helmet off". but... then why would he sign on for that?
Effort? Does it take effort to talk like a robot without inflection and never have to make any facial expressions? He could even record his lines in a booth and have a stand-in wear the armor. Why does that take effort?
>hey you want 5 million dollars?
>sure
>you gotta wear a helmet though
>oh ok nm fuck ur money
I can believe they told him "Oh yeah sure, he takes the helmet off. Don't worry, people will know it's you, the handsome guy from Game of Thrones". And then six months later he's going through each episode's script with mounting dread and anger until he finds out the circumstances of the only time he takes it off.
I think word of that got around. And he's perfectly justified in my opinion. As an actor his face is his money maker. Sure as long as he's in the role he's making bank but without people seeing his face and recognising him he's losing market value. I'm not sure if I explained it right but I hope you get what I mean.
it's canon that they never remove them
Can’t tell if zoom zoom or bait...
literally anybody could be in that suit. It wouldn't make any difference. He should quit and do something better.
They're in too deep now. If they take it off it will be weird.
he could take it off every once in a while in his spaceship
But what's the point in being able to make use of facial expressions if he's alone or with only a select group of people? Only so much can happen for it to be worth seeing hits face.
LOL ARE YOU GUYS FUCKING STUPID?
HE NEVER HAS TO EVEN BE ON SET ITS JUST ALWAYS A STUNT DOUBLE AND ALL HE DOES IS SOME ADR ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR.
Easiest paycheck ever.
he could do funny faces to yeed to make him laugh
>RRRRRREEEEEEEE Y DIN HE TAEK HIS MASK OFF BRAHS RRRRREEEEEEEEEE
>zoom zoom
Ffs, I genuinely hate Zig Forums nowadays
>It's a shitty deal for Pedro Pascale too. I kind of feel sorry for the guy.
I honestly don't know why he would agree to it in the first place without certain assurances to get rid of the bucket by the end of S1. He should fire his agent.
>posts a pic the centerpiece of which is an actor clearly emoting with his face
>uses it as a reaction image to criticize anons wanting to see the actor's face
What did user mean by this?
You’re the kind of retard who thinks “cantina patron #3” needs a stand alone film.
Neck yourself you dopamine drained cunt
MONEY
No. Just the "kind of user" who thinks actors emoting with their faces is important. The fact that you can't understand this makes criticism beyond ironic.
taking off his helmet while 'alone' with the audience could open up a whole 'vulnerability' angle
im perfectly fine with the helmet regardless, though. it does the same thing. the only thing 'no helmet' does is say 'this is pascal btw'
No.
That's already the case. He just dubs the character.
If he takes the helmet off, will he die?
Tell me about Mando.
Why does he wear the helm?
>taking off his helmet while 'alone' with the audience could open up a whole 'vulnerability' angle
This is probably the strongest evidence that it's more than autism and it's probably rarely if ever him in the suit and the show is probably subject to dialogue changes since in-universe the character obviously is taking off his helmet quite a lot. And yet in the show we rarely see it. They're using it to hide things from the audience.
He didn't look handsome like in Game of Thrones when he did take off the helmet at the end of season 1, he looked bloated, like a fat mexican. Bacta, por favor?
It is the way
He would not be justified if that's true. Karl Urban did Dredd without taking his helmet off because he's dedicated. Fuck actors that have to show their face every episode when they play a masked character.
This is why Kat urban is such a Chad. Pedro wants to take the mask off because he’s a pussy bitch and urban refused to take his off because it’s true to the character proof that comic books are superior to starshit
So -- Mandalorian Yoda-Species Force Sensitive Bounty Hunter?
How exactly does that even work?
Bruh, you're talking about a series that could go on longer than Dr. Who. It's a no-brainer to make the dude wear a mask so they have the option of a sound-alike voice actor.
This series is going to be plugging along until we're all old and grey.
Sounds like an amazing deal to me
No. It's just a prop.
Dredd's helmet still leaves half of his face visible.
If he's doing mando he's not going to be doing many other roles. Mando could run for years. By the time he's finished starring in mando no one will recognise him and he won't get as much work. Karl Urban starred in one movie where he wore a helmet. He didn't have to wear it for years.
for you
Because you need borrow the lead actor for a couple of hours to shoot some scenes, and then he is free to do what he wants.
They could make this one episode per week for the whole year if they want, because they can shoot the scenes with body doubles.
Its lone wolf and cub.
Star wars is founded on copying old samurai movies.
I knew the helmet would be a problem. Masked character should be villains. Plus he keeps it for retarded reasons, makes him look like an edgy teen at a costume party
