What's your personal go-to comfy movie that you watch when you need distraction from shitty real life you know, the type with a relaxing soundtrack, nice aesthetics, interesting story but no overly aggressive tone that leaves you with a smooth feeling
Jackie Chan flick or anything martial arts. Edo period/jidaigeki works too. Not even a weaboo there's just something comfy about people resolving conflicts through physical violence.

3:10 to Yuma. It actually reminds a lot of in that it's action, but so patiently paced that it becomes easy watching. Still think it should have won an Oscar for the soundtrack.

I watch specific scenes. The Don Giovanni scene in Amadeus is one. Swan tuning Winslow's voice in Phantom of the Paradise, the atlantean sword scene in Conan, and the cave scene in The 13th Warrior are also favorites. They're almost all musical scenes.
