>The Blind Man (Stephen Lang) has been hiding out for years in an isolated cabin and has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a house fire. Their quiet existence is shattered when a group of kidnappers show up and take the girl, forcing the Blind Man to leave his safe haven to save her.
Unironically turning the pedo rapist into a hero ought to ruffle some feathers.
Why do people keep bullying this poor old blind man?
Dylan Morales
>no movie with this guy genociding navi for 2 hours shit universe
Carson Collins
>Avatar 2: Orbital Bombardment never
Sebastian Moore
Eh, people do like redemption stories though. Plus, wasn't he trying to get that bitch pregnant or something because she accidentally killed his daughter? It's been awhile since I saw it so I forget.
Asher Morgan
he did literally nothing wrong, but you just know (((they))) are gonna turn him into a legitimate rapist pedophile by having him abuse the girl or some shit, completely disregarding the reasons for his actions in the first flick
Adrian Thompson
Can I get away with watching this one if I haven't seen the first one?
Ethan Thomas
>he did literally nothing wrong
You can't possibly be this retarded.
Angel Flores
illegal yes morally unsound no
Anthony Barnes
It writes itself > Avatar 2 blue indians get stomped by the full force of.earth military, also throw in space smallpox >Avatar 3 trail of tears basically for th space Indians also humanity destroying pockets of resistance >Avatar 4 space Indians get addicted t alcohol and open up space casinos
Cooper Martinez
>Villain becomes the hero Based
Daniel Parker
I think it's a good character turn. It's believable that his kind of crazy would lead him to dedicating his genuine protection as a father, not a mate, to an orphan girl.
Evan Gonzalez
>he did literally nothing wrong, he played Stonewall Jackson
Austin Russell
Punishing the woman who accidentally killed his daughter is one thing, forcibly impregnating her and keeping her chained in his basement for months because she "owes him a new daughter" is completely out of the ballpark. And then inflicting the same punishment on Jane Levy just because she was trying to rob him shows that he's completely deranged, not acting justifiably at all.
Jason Watson
The twist is that he caused the house fire and kidnapped her.
Aiden Stewart
It's an interesting idea, though I wonder how exactly it will play out. Will it be told from his perspective now? That kind of derails the gimmick of the first one where the robbers are the main characters/victims and they have to stay quiet to keep from alerting him. I guess flipping it around and showing the mechanics of a blind guy trying to take out a group of enemies could be kino too, if they don't just want to repeat themselves.
Ethan Sullivan
Your telling me that if you were a blind old war veteran with a rape dungeon, you wouldn't use it? That would probably be your only pleasure in life
Angel Gonzalez
It's true, even during the turkey baster scene it seemed important to him to specify that he's "not a rapist". He just wants to be a dad again. And that whole scheme was based on the fact that the original victim was his daughter's killer, then switching to the robber girl was sort of an impulse move. It's not like he would be hunting down random women.
Chase Cox
first ones funny
Joshua Foster
he did it to the robber girl because she just killed his new kid dumbass
from what i can garner from this sequel synopsis 1. this girl he's taking care of hasn't wronged him 2. she fills the void his daughter and unborn child left but you just know they'll paint him as an abuser to make him the bad guy
Matthew Myers
Possible kino >Blind Man seems at peace raising the orphan girl >she has no idea about his fucked up history >kidnappers take her >Blind Man as MC, occasionally cut to kidnappers >kidnappers portrayed with varying degrees of sympathy >one of them (probably female) shows kindness to the orphan and protects her from the more evil ones >mini-Stockholm Syndrome subplot >Blind Man hunts down the kidnappers and takes them out one by one Rambo style with clever blind tactics >Totally brutal kills >Shows no mercy and kills the semi-sympathetic kidnapper in front of the orphan girl >orphan girl scared of him and doesn't want to live with him anymore >alone again, he goes back to being fucked up and crazy >villain again in the third movie
Andrew Peterson
>he did it to the robber girl because she just killed his new kid dumbass He's the one who killed the pregnant girl though.
Thomas Gutierrez
because he was forced to shoot at robbers jesus fucking christ
Jaxson Nguyen
They were just trying to get out of his house at that point. Nobody was shooting at him.
Lincoln Barnes
>the turkey baster scene it seemed important to him to specify that he's "not a rapist".
That's still rape, though.
Colton Cook
that's how it works
Chase James
yeah but he wasn't raping to get a nut off, just as a means to an end. Meaning him doing something like protecting an orphan girl is conceivable. He was absolutely crazy about doing anything possible to have a kid and now he can satisfy that through adoption.
Brandon Morales
It's basically the one scenario in which something is technically rape, but the perpetrator has none of the motives or qualities of a rapist
Zachary Garcia
If anything, the first movie probably taught him the lesson that the turkey baster dungeon strategy just wasn't sustainable. Plus what's he supposed to do, find some random innocent woman and do the same thing to her? Try to track the robber girl across the country just so he can get her back and sperminate her? At that point, adoption is a logical next step for him.
Alexander Martin
imagine if they had a second bad guy, but he's deaf and then one that can't talk that would be fun ig
