I love this movie

Why makes you say that? I saw it, it was the mother crying around and the guy being a cunt, some whispers here and there, some toys and then some creepy angels. I'd call it a very slow paranormal drama but it had nothing that scared me, so it's definitely not a horror movie for me.

It’s great until about 60% in where it turns into a Marilyn Manson film clip, only just recovers right at the end

This is more of a fantasy movie than horror. Watch Malefique if you want to watch a proper horror film with a similar premise.
