Okay keep in mind I wrote this idea down in 2002, so although its kind of dated now it wasn't back then. Essentially its about smart technology, which feeds into a central AI computer. Smart tech gets so expensive that it becomes part of your body (eyes, skin covering etc). This gives the computer the ability to play God essentially. If you would see something traumatic it changes what you see to save you the pain, if you're getting cold the smart skin covering will keep you feeling warm. It sterilizes all interactions, of you are talking with someone and they say something the AI has decided you find offensive (by comparing past events and physiological changes in response to certain stimuli) it will change what you hear. Sterilizes the whole world as you can see.

2001: Space Odyssey was not based on a book. Only the trip to moon I think. Dr Strangelove character was created by kubrick.

Hitchcock never wrote, but he did adviced on what should be done with the script if something in it was boring, dumb, convenient, etc. He was basically a teacher not telling you how to fix a problem, just telling you that there was one and you should do something about it, which is pretty based.
