user, I'm a combat vet, and firefights are in no way similar to most movies or video games. It is a rush in the moment, it is chaotic, with a slight degree of panic when someone is trying to kill you. You don't always hit your target immediately, many times you don't hit them at all. Even at close range, you have to experience it first-hand to understand how imperfect firefights are.
