Eh, season 2 was it's only great season. 1 is comfy but kinda shit, 3 is good, but 4 and beyond haven't aged well and Buffy turns into an insufferable cunt during them.

Angel is by no means the better show. More sophisticated in some ways perhaps, like character arcs, and darker and more adult, but it never had the magic Buffy did. Also Cordelia was fun as a foil to Buffy but on Angel she's a waste of space
