This show was kind of silly but I still liked it

kid actors in anything should be shot.
even for childrens movies theres plenty of adult actors passing as underage kids, elsa jean etc.
i dont care if she has a sub 70 iq, she would do a better job than any child actor in the last decade

the kid's acting the inconsequential. Wouldn't have mattered if it was a 30 year old playing a 13 year old, the kid was written like a little shit that should have been murdered by his parents.

I wouldn´t say on anything, some times some very very VERY FEW kid actors deliver great performances like Kirsten Dunst in interview with the vampire and whatnot.

It was pretty amazing that not only was the first child actor horrible but they found someone just as bad if not more punchable for the second actor. Too bad it took until the last episode for him to bite it.

I can't remember if the old man dies in the series finale or not, but he, the father, and the son are the only main cast that die and it's at the end. There's a pretty solid half-breed character that is about the only real highlight of the show during the post 1st season. If you enjoyed the 1st season you should just start up from there and quit once you get annoyed by it.

forgot to mention, the flashbacks to WW2 and the old man's early life are decent.
