Just marathoned this piece of shit. What was the object they were trying to get, why did they say they have to kill themselves after hiding it and how did protaganist get back in the past before the movie if there isnt any machines to come out of?
I feel like nolan watched Primer and tried to turn it into an action movie.
Tenet
If you think a single movie counts as a marathon, you were always going to get filtered by Tenet
> What was the object they were trying to get
AlgoGuffin that destroys the world if left for bad future folk
>why did they say they have to kill themselves after hiding it
So bad future folk can't pump them for answers
>and how did protaganist get back in the past before the movie if there isnt any machines to come out of?
Plot magic
Huh, i posted this thread hours ago and it told me i failed the captcha. I didnt even know it existed.
One more question, what was the deadmans switch they talked about for tiger man, and why did killing him even matter if he was just being used by future niggers?
Also they killed him, meaning they changed things, why would him dying end the world?
>protag: "If we dont stop him the whole world will be destroyed"
>Kat: "Including my son?!"
o boy
> what was the deadmans switch they talked about for tiger man
Fitbit heartrate monitor hooked up via WiFi to AlgoGuffin
>why did killing him even matter if he was just being used by future niggers?
Tiger man either activates the AlgoGuffin for the future people or future people do if they find it
Also Tiger man bad
>Also they killed him, meaning they changed things, why would him dying end the world?
AlgoGuffin was destroyed before tiger man dead
Why are newfags always so dumb? I don't even give a shit about Nolanflicks.
yeah it was an awful movie, did they think Neil being the son of Debicki would be an interesting twist? what a piece of shit movie, I want my time back
If they were all wearing capes you guys would have loved it. The plot is easier to follow than an avengers movie.
tennis
Thats realistic dialogue from a woman honestly.
Nolan is the mumble-rapper of the world of cinema.
>I'm the protagonist
>AlgoGuffin was destroyed before tiger man dead
Right, that means they changed the future / past. Wasnt that the whole thing they were afraid of, that changing things would destroy everything? And they didnt destroy the agloguffin, they just hid it
Who the FUCK were they at war with in that battle scene? And why were tigemans henchmen so eager to end the world?
Look man a whole movie is a lot for me can you not be so ignorant of other's needs?
marathoned this reply with my eyes and I give it 4/10
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Tenet. The plot is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of it will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Russian's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these dialogues, to realise that they're not just there to impress you- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Tenet truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth in the protagonist's existential catchphrase "I'm The Protagonist" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Nolan's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have an Inception Spinning Top tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
real quote is even worse
>”Everyone and everything that ever lived, destroyed instantly.”
>”Including my son.”
good bait
Tenet is word that is same backwards and forewards also.
HOLY SHIT
Is this real? I didnt pick up on this
>t. newfag
how is that piece of shit an algorithm
just watch the end scene
Did you just marathon this t. meme in your first week here?
what is the significance of Neil's backpack at the end? the protagonist looks at it and gets sad
No clue. Why would a piece of it at the opera? Was the entire terrorist attack a test, meaning they had the special algorithm and then lost it during a training exercise? Did they kill every agent there except him, how often do they do these trainings and how so they explain all the dead officers?
Why did he get recruited and then never had to report to anyone?
please go back
It was the dude that saved him in the begining, and he knew he was about to get shot in the face.
Thats all i know about that thing on his backpack, was there a scene that showed the son having that object? I really didnt care for a lot of the scenes with that giant so i peobably missed it.
about to watch it a second time, what should I pay attention to?
Neil's backup was on the soldier dead who opened the door for him, meaning he will sacrifice himself to open the door for Protagonigg
opera scene was like the ending where back guys learns in the future that debicki got shot outside the school so he was there to prevent it. neil was there to save the guy because he'll be important later
play it backwards
this movie was absolute gargabe, Nolan is a hack fucking confirmed, the only good movies he has made are batman trilogy and he just had to adapt source material which is easy af.
red team was fighting blue team, it was war of the time
Wat
pincer maneuver it?
