What the fuck were the machines actually doing in there? Were the stagnant?
Did they give up on innovation because they didn't have the drive to live like humans?
Why didn't they try making rockets either to leave earth?
What the fuck were the machines actually doing in there? Were the stagnant?

Animatrix Second Renaissance
They discarded their humanity to win the war with the humans so they became an unhappy insect-like hive society.
Aren't humans a bit of a shitty power source?
Can't they just built a bunch of nuclear power plants? Machines obviously don't care for the well-being of the planet.
The original version used human brains for processing power, they rewrote it for release.
I remember reading that the humans were originally supposed to be CPU cores, which makes more sense. I don't know if I dreamt that up though
It's just plot malarkey. They really just wanted to keep humans around for the possibility of redemption.
Apparently in the first write of the film humans were used as processors rather than a power source like cloud-computing.
I guess the studio figured most people weren't smart enough to know about energy to know that wasn't a real reason to keep humans.
Most of our electricity actually comes from coal not from the sun and also geothermal has a shit ton of power and its not from the sun either.
Yeah it’s a shitty premise. Nuclear power would have been just fine but I guess the machines needed a massively over elaborate power source because they wanted to show off to their other robot friends.
Right, how much energy does the human body even generate?
Whatever it is it doesn't seem to sustain an entire planet of high powered machines. Even if you mass-farm them on a global scale, their maintenance seems to offset if not demand more power than gained.
Without humanity providing inspiration the machines returned to their most basic function, serving humanity. The Matrix being the "only source" powerful enough to run machine society is just mental gymnastics the machines tell themselves to ignore the fact that they are compelled to keep humanity around and provide for humanity's well being.
Humans need to eat everyday. They'd run out of humans. It wouldn't make any sense at all. Also yeah humans don't produce that much energy from body heat.
The way I understood it when I watched it (fuck I'm old) was that it wasn't the only source of power the machines had, it was "a use for all those humans." So it was supplementary, a kind of slavery that put the surviving humans to use.
I always thought the machines were trying to colonize other planets, they just kept humans in the matrix so they wouldn't disrupt the terra forming process, wouldve been great if they wanted to wake people out when the time was right.
Create terminators
That would have been cool, but I guess that was never part of the story.
Also doesn't make any sense that the humans weren't obedient. You can literally make humans eat shit and make them think they need to cut off their own body parts, so making them obedient to robot gods seems like it wouldn't be very hard.
>walking home from military/survival class
>suddenly you turn the corner from the abandoned wasteland and see this
what do?
Is it true that solar energy is just a big meme? I always thought it sounded too good to be true.
Its definitely more expensive and less efficient.
One big 4 foot by 3 foot solar panel can barely power a single lightbulb so you would need to store your energy in a battery.
Also, solar panels are made from a specific kind of mineral or element, I'm not really sure, but it mostly comes from Africa so I believe the reason why the powers that be want to push solar panels so badly is to give big money to Africa for their diversity agenda.
The only time human "farming" made sense was in Blade Trinity.
I mean, they accomplished their goal. Humans are no longer a threat to themselves.
So when a woman gets "pregnant" in the matrix how do the machines manage to create another human?
Use my training
Please stop talking shit about thiings you know nothing about thanks
>doesn't provide counter argument
Aaaand dismissed.
he rite do
Was the matrix bad? I mean, humans weren't dying, they were living their lives there.
I never really understood the sacs. How did they come into being?
Diversity agenda in Africa... wtf?
I'm nkt here to argue, retard.
Just telling you to stop talking shit about stuff you have 0 knowledge of.
Criticizing someone IS arguing you smoothbrain.
He's just parotting some dumb shit he read on Zig Forums infograph people make ironically , he is just dumb enough to take it seriously
