If he was right and legit, by that we must mean that he performed hands-on work reverse engineering derelict flying saucers, then why hasn't he been scooped up by either the US government for spilling beans, or a major aerospace company, or a foreign power? If they aren't yet sure how to reproduce and use them, sure. If I had a time machine, and took a fully functioning F22 back to Rome, it would be a really long time before they even figured out how to make the alloy, or deduced that the shape matters.
