Christ Kino

Where has happened to Christian cinema? Contemporary Christian films, are usually financially successful, yet they can't hire competent staff and writers. They usually just break down into

>Evangelical good guys
>Evil atheist caricatures
>Evil atheist cariactures convert after a NDE or recognizing their flaws in character.

Why aren't we getting any more kino like Ben Hur, Andrei Rublev, The Ten Commandments, etc.

Jews run entertainment and hate christ. The few Christian films that succeed are made by idiots who can't write with subtleness and make interesting characters.

This.

You don't need to be talented to make a Christian movie. You just need to know the right people.

>mfw christcucks actually think OP's pic is a good argument

Marty Scor's "Silence" is a very good representation of the Christian ethos, though.

God's Not Dead 3> God's Not Dead > God's Not Dead 2

Pastor Dave's storyline is unironically great and thought-provoking

Protestantism was a mistake.

Did somebody order Christkino?

christianity is dead
come home to the straight path

Hmm, this looks pretty decent. What are your thoughts on it?

This.
The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church has the most profound intellectual tradition known to man, spanning two millennia. Then some bipolar autist named Martin sperging out at the Pope just had to go and fuck it all up.

From my point of view, enabling pedos was a mistake

As a former atheist turned Catholic who still despises poorly-made Christian media as much as I did before I was a believer, I really love The Chosen. It was a huge surprise, I thought it would suck. They're are definitely certain parts and aspects that are a bit cringe, but overall I think it's worth your time.

The ratio of pedos/sex offers in the Church is the same as in the general population, and lower than in the public school system

>not the original death wish
What

Islam is more degenerate and lgbt friendly than christianity

The Church doesn't support LGBT if by "support" you mean encourage or even permit unnatural sexual behavior. The LGBT community are wounded sinners just like the rest of us, though, so there's no hate for them. You can love a person while condemning their behavior if their behavior is harmful to their own well being.

The catholic church literally spent millions funding pro pedo legislation in new england. Based Luther knew the catholic """"church"""" was just a small cabal of creeps controlling the masses.

>The catholic church literally spent millions funding pro pedo legislation in new england
>citation needed

Luther was literally mentally ill. You've been played, my friend. Read the Fathers of the Church and you'll understand. The Catholic Church was founded by Christ; Protestantism was founded by some random schitzo who was butthurt.

>THESE ARE YOUR BROTHERS!

Also, is important to understand that Lutheranism and Calvinism are no different than Arianism or Nestorianism or any of the other heresies throughout Church history. Some dude decides he's going to take some of Divine revelation and interpret it himself, and the Church says "yeah, no, you're wrong". Lutherans and Calvinists will die out eventually just like the others, and the Church will continue on.

You can't disprove what doesn't exist. For example:

Person A: "There is a blue giraffe in Africa!"
Person B: "OK... Prove it."
Person A: "I don't have to... I BELIEVE that it is there!"
Person B: "If you can't prove that a blue giraffe is in Africa, then it doesn't exist."
Person A: "WRONG! YOU CAN'T *DISPROVE* IT! THEREFORE, IT EXISTS!!!!! HAH!!"

Do see how stupid 'Person A' is in the above example? Don't be like 'Person A.'

>and theyre right
pr*testants were a mistake

A system that doesn't have any particular logical coherency behind it is never going to attract the people who make kino. Best you can hope for is christian transformers.

A much simpler response is to point out that unfalsifiability isn't a good thing; it's grounds to reject a claim outright.

American christians are mentally ill

>A system that doesn't have any particular logical coherency behind it
Pure pseudointellectual word salad

Congrats on winning an argument in your head. Really proud of you. Also,
>There have been nearly 3000 Gods so far but only yours factually exists. The others are all silly made up nonsense. But not yours. Yours is real.
Yes.
Ricky Gervais is a comedian, not a philosopher. Go back to R3ddit you pasty ass whitey.

Reminder that there are multiple seperately written accounts of the life of Jesus Christ, written ~30 after His death by people who personally knew Christ or were the students of those that knew Him that describe Him performing similar miracles in each version. Reminder people who personally knew Christ were willing to be persecuted and killed before denying the acts of Christ. By all accounts Jesus Christ and His deeds are among the best recorded in antiquity. If you believe the accounts we have of Caesar but don't believe the accounts of Christ you are a hypocrite.

Don't know why people buy into this argument Ricky is making. It doesn't matter how many "Gods" have been created. Doesn't disprove the existence of any God in particular. There could be 3000 explanations on the nature of matter, for example (All things being water, all things being 4 elements, all things being an illusion etc etc etc.) It does not follow that it is false that all matter is built by atoms.

That doesn't mean Christ is a sky daddy with wings that zaps people with lightning.

Christians think their god is the one true god and all the others were made by Satan to deceive people.

>letting the atheist frame the argument for you
The peripatetic axis is self-destructive. It can't even prove itself. Challenge the atheist on this point. Demand that he justify himself, demand that he provide you with his worldview's source of objective truth and ethics.
And when he inevitably tells you that it comes from mortal men, tell him that mortal men cannot serve as a basis for objective truth and ethics because all men are fallible and biased. And then explain to him that "this is the best we've got" is not a valid argument because it's not enough to justify objective truth and ethics.
Therefore, if you're an atheist, you cannot believe in any kind of objective truth or ethics. You are trapped in a relativistic worldview which inexorably leads to solipsism.
