Seinfeld. I don’t really consider the Simpsons a sitcom, different structure.

Dear God 30 Rock is funny

If you judge it only by the good seasons then Simpsons, South Park, Seinfeld and IASIP

I thought it was surprisingly funny but all the writer's room characters suck.

How can you seriously put 30 rock and Arrested Development in the same category as Seinfeld and golden age Sneedsons?
They were both decent shows, but they're nowhere near GOAT contenders

BAAAAM

I've pondered on this myself. Is there a sitcom that isn't reddit by Zig Forums standards?

Whats GOAT

It starts declining like season 7-9. But keep watching until the end of season 12. There are enough good ones to justify it. After that, it for some reason turns into a super cringey show that's just awkward and not funny at all.

Sanford and son
Newsradio
Early Roseanne

Season 11 is the hard cut-off point.

are you literally me? Those are my top 4 exactly. pure comedy kino. I hate impure comedies that mix in hamfisted drama.

Yes. I am you!

What's the most consistent sitcom out there? I'm tired of all these shows completely falling apart in the later seasons. Have any of them actually stuck the landing?
