Yeah twice. Now Im a Nazi.

I would punch you right in the face if I ever saw you. Nazis are fucking losers.

Haha no you wouldnt, i am six foot seven and weigh 240 pounds. My jaw probably weighs more than the force you could throw at it lol.

I was in some straight-to-video Mormon Christmas flick. Don't even remember what it was.

Three times. Now I'm a muslim.

Punching Nazis is as American as apple pie

No. I thought about trying out for hunger games as an extra as a joke since they were filming in my state but didnt want to drive all the way out there

So is getting shot by a nigger

I was in The Place Beyond the Pines

Couple times but nothing big. Gemma Arterton is gorgeous in real life though

Worked with central casting for 5 years. AMA

>Star Trek Picard
>Capt Marvel
>The Little Things (unreleased)
>NCIS
>9-1-1
>AHS
>Blackish
>Code Black
>For All Mankind
>Hollywood (Ryan Murphy)
>Orville
>Arrested Development
>a bunch of trash youve never heard of

I was middle school bully #2 in a 1997 anti bullying psa

Enjoy it overall?

I'll start. What is central casting?

I feel like that would have been me

Basically the centralized background actor resource. Basically anyone can join. Great way to make money if you’re inbetween work (or at least it was pre covid). If you’re half decent looking youll get work. If you’re an ugly manlet youll only get cattle calls (200 people background scenes).

Hit or miss. Some sets are great some suck. Some work is fun some is tedious/boring. Meet a lot of cool people though and learn a lot about the industry if you pay attention

Kill me, Pete

>be me
>young and dumb
>see Craigslist ad
>”extras needed for major Hollywood film”
>consists of standing outside of Soldier Field in Chicago
>supposed to be summer in film
>just wearing navy outfit
>it’s February
>shoot lasts 5 hours
We got to smoke anytime, though. Plus, I walked passed an old man in a green coat who said, “How ya doing, kid?” Didn’t even notice at the time who it was.

Who was it?

Eastwood. It was dark. I was an idiot. Took me five minutes later before I realized. Anyways, what was cool was the White Sox were going to sweep the Astros and he broke shooting so the extras could watch it.

came to post this

October, not February. Whatever, it was cold as fuck off the lake.

A great thread. Still don’t know if that was actually the guy or OP just noticed it while watching.

My aunt was kinda an extra in True Lies. She was just standing in the street staring at the camera, and somehow they didn't notice her. She told us all about seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger, but we thought she was full of shit. Then we noticed her dumbass made it into the movie.

Yep

Was a Biker in Stone Cold. A reporter in The Tight Rope. A soldier in Jonah Hex. And a waiter in Green lantern.

Did you get to meet Ryan Reynolds?

So is enslaving blacks, running off native americans, and excluding asians

technically not, since I wasn't hired
but you can spot me for about three seconds walking past in the background of a movie scene shot on a street of the city I live in

my aunt was a stripper extra in The Sopranos

I once drank, 750mL of MadDog20/20 and watched a good half hour of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck cartoons only to realize the television wasn't on.

On several dozen productions, yeah. They film a lot of shit here and I'm good looking enough to get picked for stuff.

Hi-Five bro, we did it
