They're softening everyone up for the inevitable restrictions on travel and entering certain buildings without proof of vaccination via a digital "health passport." Every western country is prepping for this. Look at what's going on in Canada right now. Basically the same situation as England. Many governors in America are re-instituting or extending not just lockdowns, but other restrictions on travel and gatherings.

They won't have to force anyone to take the vaccine because they'll simply make it impossible to live your life without getting it. No proof of vaccination? Sorry, you can't enter any supermarkets to buy food, can't use any public transport, can't enter any restaurants or bars/pubs, etc. Your kids won't be allowed to return to in-person schooling if they don't get the vaccine. The problem is, there is a virus. Maybe not deadly to the hyperbolic extent that some people claim it is, but without any form of vaccination, people won't really develop an immunity to it anytime soon. So whichever way you look at it, people are screwed.
