High-tier KINO. The landscape shots, music, cinematography, clothes, everything is perfect production-wise. Thatcher and The Queen actresses are shit but that's the only dark spot.
What do you guys think?

Diana, Charles, Philip and Anne are top tier casting.
how come no one ever talks about this show?
Been watching it with my mum and think I've been enjoying it more than she is. They make the drama so relatable. Really enjoyed the ep with the unemployed schizo who visited the queen.
As for the costumes, they were done by a woman who does the costumes for ITV miniseries that always struck me as being unmistakably British and stylish.

What did Charles think?
Emma is CUTE but I feel like she's doing a caricature here.
is this show worth watching or is it for girls
Im almost done with season 1 and it's been much better than I was expecting. Is it worth going through the rest?
Yes, although Season 3 is a low point compared to the rest
>Cheating on THIS
Wtf why didn't they just get a marriage counselor or something?
Needed more of Di actress in swimsuits
Making yourself unhappy and miserable is a proud British tradition
I like the Thatcher actress
Stopped watching after season 2. The recast is awful (apart from a few decent ones).
it's embarrassingly pedestrian and shallow, every situation is explained like the audience is braindead, and politics and government are reduced beyond absurdity to single people making decisions and simplified events. The saddest part is how the cast is quite talented, but has to play these near caricatures, except for the rare moments where the writers accidentally stumble into some character depth, only to discard it the next episode
>Have 19-yo tight, fit, blonde girl fall in love with you
>Marry her
>Every opportunity to teach her that her royal responsibility is to suck your balls dry every evening
>Still fuck your shit up by tagging your dog-faced bestie instead of keeping the young cutie
Why did he ruin the perfect setup?
it is for girls and more specifically its for americans who romanticise the british monarchy
They had an age difference of 12 years and they'd only been seeing each other for about 6 months before she married her only a few weeks after her 20th birthday.
The entire thing was fucking stupid.
He had everything... but see this Can all be attributed to this
I thought there was something wrong with me because i couldn't get interested in the characters.
I'm not sure if it's the actors or the script's fault though. The most interesting theme is how the old hag made the lives of everyone around her miserable. There's no space for nuance or freedom and it's by design. The Queen orders, the others obey.
Cute!
>Hairy arms
Holy based
I refuse to believe this is his son. I refuse to believe it. Am I a schizo?
No. Diana cheated on him with some soccer player
Wtf I was right!? She deserved to be killed
It was a military officer.
>he doesn’t know
You have been filtered. Goodbye.
The writing is too on the nose this season. Way less subtlety than the show used to have.
He's obviously a man of culture and Diana probably didn't stimulate him mentally.
What?
