Except he doesn't get the girl in Raimi's 1. The whole point of it was that he couldn't allow himself to jeopardize his loved ones, thus he rejects MJ, choosing his responsibilities rather than following his feelings; a conclusion to the conversation he had with Uncle Ben in the car.
Thus is later subverted in 2, where his choice is causing him to lose his powers due the stress it causes him.

Spider-Man in the MCU sucks because he's basically just Iron Man Jr. and none of his actions have any real consequences, nothing about what makes the character really compelling and relatable is there, he doesn't stand on his own and is only there to make references to the MCU as a whole rather than engaging with his own mythos.
