I heard that Tremoring threads came from this board, and that some people here were actually able to transform themselves doing it.
Tremoring or TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercise) is a a therapy which involves fatiguing your muscles and then sitting in a position which will make them tremor, the idea being that it releases stored trauma in your body. It's based on the idea that animals naturally do this and are able to quickly shake things off.
Anyone got any experiences with this? I've tried it a few times and the first time I successfully did it I felt a powerful euphoria to the point where I was smiling and laughing for no real reason.
Thats so funny, i havent been on biz in a couple days as I am busy selling all of my chainlink....and i saw your thread. I was the user who made all those threads, and who went to new mexico to do somatic experiencing AND TRE for a month to fic myself mentally with htis stuff.
But yes...we have been conditioned to hold in our stress, David Bercelli also figured out when doing work in 3rd world countries, that when in bomb shelters...and bombs would go off afterwards the kids would naturally shake, but the adults wouldn't. Then the adults go on to develop PTSD and the kids didnt. But everyone still naturally curled up per reaction to it...and thats making your psoas muscle more tight.

You dont necessarily have to fatigue your muscles to do this, many of those warmup exercises are not needed. I tremor everyday and dont fatigue my muscles...and i just start tremoring easily. Although my practitioner initially for 1 minute had me lie on my back in the crab position and arch my back upwards and hold for a minute.

Here is the response from an user when I made a thread a week after the first thread I made.
I was in such bad shape from like august to feb...my anxiety and stress got so bad i started having derealization and depersonalization. I thought i was going schizo...also this was partly adrenal fatigue related too.
I couldnt even walk into a grocery store without wanting to kill myself. And this shit was absolute magic.
Mental health issues are not in your head...it is trauma and stress stored in your body.

I get the feeling those threads are as seminal as the lucid dreaming ones on Zig Forums in 2010 (did they really build an astral city?)
What providence! I think you responded to me in another thread before this also because I remember your screencaps.
I'll try it again, I didn't quite get the results I got the first time on my 2nd and 3rd attempts but knowing that it's helped others is really encouraging, Thankyou for sharing it!
Do you think it's more about being in the crab position than fatiguing your muscles?
Glad to hear it helped you, I think you may be right. In some ways I've never been more stressed out and depressed as I have lately and I've noticed that its making me shake a lot.

Yes the main position is the crab position. Try moving your kneescaps up between 1 inches to almost as high up as they can go...some of the largest most violent tremoring i get is when i raise my kneecaps up almost as far as they can go. to where you legs are almost in a V shape. I never had to fatigue my muscles before doing it.
Another good position is lie on your back with your kness up like your going to do a sit up. Then put the insides of your feets together, then put your knees together and then move your knees outward from each other anywhere from 1 to a few inhes or even more and find the sweet spot and your legs will start shaking.

Any good videos on this you know of and can link to? Do you only do the crab position and then it happens or do you have to do the warm ups then that position?
Yeah i only do the crab and the situp position one.
I get violent poltergeist exorcism shakes and dont need to warm up. But warmups might work good for you. ANd remember go slow, less is more with this. 5-10 mins tops 3 times a week intiially. Your body usually tells you when to stop...first time for me i started feeling aa little numb in my upper chest.
And sometimes in the beggining only 1 minute is fine. just to get the hang of it.

OP here, I just did it for a good 15 minutes and went and had a shower. Didn't feel the same sort of euphoria as I did the first time I did it but I definitely had a moment basking in the warm water, definitely gonna add this to my routine - any more advice?
Jace Wilson
cool Im trying this for fun

This is a retarded quarter ass approximation of actual exercise. Just go to the gym and hit the sauna after
Austin Perry
I'm literally shaking right now

it's not exercise dipshit

yeah exactly its your body doing its own thing

take it slow 15 mins tops....3 times a week, for first few weeks then you can go everyday. Less is more with this.

Maybe if you got some regular cardio, strength training, and stretching in you wouldn't need this literal coping mechanism to release stress, because you wouldn't have any.

First time I did it with the full warm up and ended up having a crazy emotional dream about my deceased dog and I woke up crying. But it wasn’t like mourning, it felt like acceptance and release. This is the real deal, thanks for the reminder to make a habit of it.
I wanna go hard but you're probably right, I'm in a really good mood now however so I'd encourage people here to try it out

This type of posting reeks of newfag, it’s just so... weak?

You are a literal brainlet refusing to try unconventional things. If your lazy ass ever tried seriously foam rolling you would notice an emotional component to it. Im guessing TRE works in a similar manner, that is releasing the tension built over time by stimulating parasympathetic nervous system and ultimately allowing your muscles to fully relax. Anyway dont knock it before you try it.
