Ok. Now what does going dormant do for the coins if whales just want to hodl
Daniel Richardson
It's 100% correct information of the coins in circulation since it's obtained directly from the blockchain. It means that about 900k coins will be in circulation in exchanges by june and 328k mined per year after halving.
So only less than 3 years of post halving supply will be in circulation.
Isaac Nelson
It would be incredibly difficult to take off from such a rotating structure.

I can't wait. It'll be a 100% white utopia. Niggers and jews won't be allowed and will be executed on the spot if they're caught sneaking in.
Charles King
all this means to me is we've seen exchanges acquire an incredible amount of BTC, which they no longer need to move because 1) they actually own a lot in cold wallets, and 2) most people never withdraw BTC, so the supply never needs to move. all centralized exchange trading is just moving numbers from one account to another on a centralized database....BTC hardly ever even needs to move anymore.
Ryder Bailey
A good view of the whole thing , however it also means the people involved have faith in the future of the ecosystem , probably more faith than their own banks since they are leaving the coins dormant.
Ethan Wood

Jayden Kelly
by june 17.50m bitcoins won't have moved for over a year , leaving only 800k in circulation.
This is 100% proof they are not moving due to being from the blockchain.
Tyler Morris
