New to crypto, why do I see this shilled everywhere? Seems a bit scammy.
Why does it get shilled here so hard?
its a group of cultists that have been force spamming the token for 2.5yrs. just add link sergey and chainlink to your filters and dont worry about the cultist shitcoin.
>muh 2.5 yrs response
yeah to do nothing be nothing accomplish nothing
Does it have any legitimacy at all? I've been reading some stuff about it and I'm trying to get to grips with all the terms used etc but the way it is spammed so relentlessly seems a bit off to me. Appreciate the info, thanks user.
It is a billion supply erc20 token that got memed to temporary gains because of fake partnerships. Stay away.
I've asked a few people talking about it that swear by it some basic questions on it and they get really angry lol. Thanks user.
No problem user. If you're buying crypto for long term just stick with btc. Everything else is vaporware.
Yes to please sir buy the chainlink token make village very happy for municipal lambo and prostitution thank you sir
Exactly, definitely stay the hell away from link. No reason it's being shilled so hard except that these "frogposters" are schizo cultists. They always spam Big Macs too, I think link had a failed mcdonalds partnership or something it's very weird.
there’s this crypto war going on here and it’s fucking weird
Just research the project brainlet. Or don't but don't check the price in a few years or you might legit want to kill yourself.
I'm waiting or hoping for a dip on BTC so I can get in but I bought some ETH a little while back before I knew anything about crypto. Should I sell that for BTC if I get the opportunity?
I didn't know all the technical terms being used and didn't really understand it all but the way it was being shilled just sent off alarm bells for me for some reason, maybe I'm wrong but it was a gut feeling.
Vechain and nano are much better choices
>Should I sell that for BTC if I get the opportunity?
Definitely imo
>Just research the project brainlet
See this is what I mean, you ask people about it genuinely and they get upset. I don't pretend to know much about crypto but if it was so useful then they'd be able to justify it easily and everyone would be on board.
The people who shill that shitcoin here are salty because they missed all the big pumps while theyre shitcoin stagnated. XRP did better, DOGE did better, BOMB did better, now they’re trying to seriously inflate the prices through reddit campaigns
To be honest I’m not really sure anymore why I shill link. Just a born scammer I suppose.
>if it was so useful then they'd be able to justify it easily and everyone would be on board.
Then why buy btc?
Because internet stocks are trendy and people here got scammed and shill their scammed coins hoping they can sell one day.
no it has no legitimacy at all. the token does nothing and oracles are not some special magical thing only chainlink can handle. also the owner sergey owns 60% of the token he randomly dumps 700k of on everyone to supress the price. as I said ignore it and find something else
Link to 100 rupees end of third quarter year sir please buy lest your village will surely suicide sir
chainlink has gained more value than any crypto in these last 2.5 years, chainlink 1000$ EOY 2020
it’s grandfathered in and most palatable to normies, and their money is what you want. It would take a serious name drop, collab, fed announcement, or BTC suffering excessive damage for normies to look into anything else. Unironically too big to fail, for now.
Thank you for your service bagholder
>Then why buy btc?
That's a strawman because I haven't said that you should.
>new to crypto
just stop while you're ahead. it's for buying drugs and child pornography. that's it. it won't become more valuable in the long run. it already peaked a few years ago when it hit the normie mainstream during the peak of the darknet markets. now all that is left is a slow bleed to irrelevancy.
Chainlink is a scam
Link bagholders are the worst. I mean just cut your losses and dump before it goes back to being the $1 stable coin it was supposed to be. This is all in the white paper if people would dyor.
No, why do you personally buy btc then?
No, it went from rank 300 to 10 and was the top performer during an entire year of bear market by pure chance.
>No, why do you personally buy btc then?
Show me where that I've said I have bought some, I asked someone who said that I should if I should and they said yes. Besides, even being new to crypto I can tell you that BTC has one thing that LINK doesn't and that is name or brand recognition.
Why are LINK bagholders so passive aggressive and sensitive about their coin?
Hey man. I would stay away from this project. The CEO, Sergey Nazarov, owns 65% of the total supply. Not fucking with you, that's real. He owns more than that, which he sells basically every 2 weeks. 500,000 - 700,000 chainlink, so a few million dollars he dumps every two weeks. The tokens themselves do not do anything. This is after years of waiting and broken promises.
Honestly I would just invest in BTC or ETH. Cheers mate
they have no other chance of making it so they went full devotion into these shitcoins
You literally said you were waiting to buy the dip you mong
oh sweet summer child...
>No, why do you personally buy btc then?
>Waiting for a good chance to buy some
Pick one, retard. I haven't bought any yet so point remains, show me where that I've said I have bought some, MONG.
We were spoonfeeding you retards since day 1, even since before ico. If you still don't understand then you absolutely deserve to be poor.
God damn you’re a retard with minimal reading comprehension. That aside, you should buy vechain and nano, they are much better projects than link
Thank you for your service bagholder
dont worry. I will spoonfeed you. Chainlink is nothing but a medianizers of Oracles. Think of it like this; if Exchange A says the price of something is $5 and Exchange B says the price of something is $4, then ChainLink will tell you the price is $4.50. If there were a lot more sources and most of them displayed prices closer to $5, the source that said $4 gets penalized in loses of money. How do they lose money? All these sources are required to own a stack of Link beforehand and by giving the wrong data, they lose part of their link stack.
Right now, you are probably detecting a shit load of problems in this idea. And the linkies always refute this by saying to look at the whitepaper
The whitepaper actually has nothing technical. People have looked at the collateral system in the whitepaper countless times and have shown it can never work in a decentralized manner and is grossly oversimplified.
So then linkies spam shit like TownCrier and Mixicles. All of this shit was written by a guy named Ari Juels who made the original chainlink whitepaper. And none of these things actually solve the problem at all; it is in fact mostly meaningless techno babble for a stupid concept like the original chainlink whitepaper. TownCrier wasnt developed by a high tech team of coders; it was developed by college students, to give an example at how big of a joke these are.
The google partnership was never a partnership. It was low level staff with link bags doing a collaboration to use chainlink on google cloud. (and on the diagram, they dont even utalize the collateral system that makes link special KEK)
Oracle integration was headed by a guy who also owned LINK and got demoted soon after releasing they were going to use LINK
No one on SWIFT actually said they were using LINK, its actually pretty one sided.
Tezos never bent a knee for link like linkies claim, it was just one of the many developers; Smart Py
Theres many mor, but LINK is not so much a scam, but more; useless
>Buy at 30c
>Coin is now $3.80
>Bagholder
I'm sorry you bought at $5 and sold at $1.50, oh wait, no I'm not.
Seething.
>Doesn't understand the difference between having bought and thinking about buying in the future
>Gets called out for being a mouthbreathing retard with a 5 year olds reading comprehension
>"N-no y-you d-didn't understand.."
If you were an actual oldfag and not larping, you would've dumped those bags in February. Enjoy the 500k dumps.
Some serious retard cope, anyways, I’m trying to tell you, but vechain and nano, they are much superior projects.
Imagine gambling generational wealth when the team could literally release staking at any moment.
It will always feel as though it's not enough, regardless how much you have, so might as well accept your stack and wait it out.
