not really. The collateral system in the whitepaper isnt coding at alll its more of a gross summary. TownCrier was written by college students and is again not a technical whitepaper and so is the mixicle whitepaper.

in 2017, LINK did nothing while everything was mooning to their all time ATH. In Jan 2018, LINK was fucking $1.40 cents while shit like ETH was $1000+ and XRP was $3+. Not link. so of course in 2018, it did not drop in sats like most other projects. Its because most other projects had megamooned and link did nothing. LINK was practically sideways for all of 2018 and went down about 48% from 2017 EOY price. Then in 2019, there was a bullrun in the summer, shit like HOT, VET, and Tezos were reaching ATH, but LINK had cleverly lied about a google blog post being an official partnership right during the time of a bullrun and so it mooned.
Then in 2020, BSV and Tezos reached their ATH, but everyone ignores that and tries to imply chainlink is the only one to reach ath
