2. They organize major shilling campaign
3. Tell everyone to lock in their stake for 6-12 months so they can drive up the price.
4. Dump on everyone who is helplessly locked in.

1. Everyone stakes for 6-12 months
2. Bad news comes out regarding the project
4. Whales who aren't staking dump their stacks.
3. The demand for the token dries up.
5. Everyone who is locked into staking is left holding bags.
