Some get upset, others want in. As long as you're not cunty about it I don't see why not

Don't talk about link to normies

I only tell my parents and one friend (who actually invests his money) about my crypto gains. Retards will come to you asking for advice on investments if you show even the slight amount of competency.

Truth is though they won't ever put their money where their mouth is, they just like to hear you talk because it makes them feel smart for being "in the know" of what's trending and mooning. Don't waste your time with normies unless they unironically have money in the market that isn't top 5 boomer stocks

Don't talk about link to normies
THIS is the only rule. If you share link with normies I will come to your house and chop your balls off and feed them to your neighbor's dog. Feel free to shitpost and shill it all over Zig Forums though. I already do that :))

You have to be 18 to post here

Do something about it btich

don't attract those leeches, fren

Yes, bragging with proof is acceptable

if someone brings up finance and trading in conversation you can normally tell if they want to measure wangs or look for tips.
outside of that its probably cunty

One of my buddies is pumping everything he has into the S&P500 right now. Also buying tech like Google and Microsoft because "I like those companies they are good". I keep warning him about the tech bubble but he won't listen. I think he will be fucked next leg down.

Here's the thing. I've been mostly in cash and some tankers and he keeps telling me about his gains in the S&P. He doesn't want advice because he is doing so well. This optimistic fuck thinks we had the bottom already. Doesn't even know what a P/E is or dividend. He just doesn't want to listen to my warnings. I just told him to take it easy on investing now and to hedge with cash and to be prepared to drop some stocks when shit does hit the fan. He will be backholding for a decade otherwise.

Never do this cause there’s nothing to gain other than ego and judgement. Just be like everyone else and never give off anything. I have set prompt / couple of lines to divert all questions. Keeps the normies at bay. At the end of the day realize the growth mindset and understand most if not all will never actually delve into pseudo risky investments like Chainlink. There’s far too much history / threads to even begin to attempt to regurgitate.

So we still have a crash ahead of us?

Come back and post his ruins when it happens

No, money printer never stops going brrr

Real estate crash is likely tho

>I think he will be fucked next leg down.

Only cringe if from crypto speculation
and not actual investing

>Is it rude or cringe to show off investment gains to irl frens?
Even if it's not rude or cringe, there's no upside to doing it. There's only downside, so why do it?
If you show someone who would think you're smart or impressive, it's because they know absolutely nothing of money management.
If you show someone who knows something about money management, you'll just look like a gambling retard.
I guess the ultimate answer is it is rude and at best off-color.
Anyone who goes around showing their "investment wins" never actually compares their long-term performance in reference to a good benchmark like the S&P500. Pic related. These are professionals whose sole job is daily to get the best return for their clients. If you factor in fees and increased taxes accrued, close to 100% of these actively managed funds cannot beat passively investing in an index in the medium run (15 years). This only becomes less likely when thinking about investment timelines of people on this board (60-70 years on average for a 20 year old to live the rest of their life).

Yes. May take a while but one way or the other stocks are heavily overvalued right now. Especially tech.

Here are my investments:

It's cool to give tips but I wish I never revealed my link stack, it's only made him seethe

same here. told a good friend of mine after he bothered me for a few weeks.

now he seems kinda pissed. never telling anybody anything ever again.

I’ve been telling my friends to buy ETH for two years, I hope they listened because I don’t want to be the only one who suddenly has a bunch of disposable income

FAGGOT go away

:DD

I literally just got a girlfriend by bragging about ARPA and telling her about this Zig Forums community here

I look like a hacker sort of like Mark Zuckerburg before he was rich I assume

Seems like you'd get people salty/jealous or you'd make them fomo into something that gets them very fucked because they're new.

No keep it to yourself otherwise they gonna be jealous and judge you when it comes to money

The waifu pillow your mom got you isn't your gf user.
