I don't see solar as a percentage of energy production growing to significant levels such that it would be worth the investment. Silicon solar cells are pushing their limits, through a lot of dedicated R&D, but can't compete with fossil fuels on cost. Concentrated solar (III-V or otherwise) is still expensive, and multi-junction integration results on silicon or GaAs, while having made headway, still suffer from defect-related performance issues or are too costly. I think a few companies are using or developing reusable, templated growth techniques that have promise, but comparative costs are still high unless you're specifically targeting space-based applications.
However, like said, the semiconductor and other high-tech industries won't get over their need for REE anytime soon, and China just happens to be sitting on some of the most abundant known deposits by sheer stroke of luck. I'm also not so sure of how profitable a direct REE investment would be. You could look at the Li and Co space to get an idea, since they're used in battery technology across the board. They're not REEs, but their operations are probably similar. We even used to have Li and Co penny stock shills here years back. There are several refining steps involved, and the ore grade and type determines much of a site's viability and productive capacity. There can also be significant lag times in between identifying new sites, when those sites can be acquired, when excavation and refinement can begin, and when the site starts turning a profit. That means that those miners tend to be running on debt for extended periods of time. Some things to consider when investing in them directly, as opposed to investing in the companies (TSM, INTC) that add the value.
I guess that's why they never could increase their market share to a sustainable level, otherwise there'd be no need for the deal. Seems poorly designed.

Breonna Taylor murdered by police in Louisville. Right after the jogger thing. If black people don't get up and start a race war right this minute they have no respect for themselves.

You know Nancy Pelosi may be a fucking cunt, but this is probably the best ice cream I've ever had. Anybody know if any of their supply chain is public? I'm assuming this shit is private.
the jogger killing was legal and justified, troll harder. i dont konw what the other one you mentioned is so ill have to research that but blacks have bad habit of latching onto the worst examples of literal criminals getting their due, for protesting and uproar over social justice. its funny how they ignore actual injustice and bigotry but get all uppity when some criminal gets killed while fighting someone trying to bring him to justice

Just dumped everything into a bond fund on Monday. You know the saying about once you hear shoeshiners giving stock advice, its time to run for the exit? I don't know about you, but everyone I work with has been opening brokerage accounts over the last month, and the hallways are full of wispers giving advice on stocks and asking how to use options. That combined with the closed economy, millions of unemployed, and soon to be mortgage collapse from renters not paying and prices crashing tells me that we're in for a hell of a dump on the backs of retail.
