Tell him each passing second his stack of fiat is devaluating, tell him each passing day his $3500 stach is losing $3 in purchasing power, that it's a race against the clock to dump ponzi fiat vs tangible assets. Nothing like a feel of emergency to motivate the normans.
It's all the silver alrdy mined and kept somewhere accessible (safes, warehouses, etc..). It matter a lot since it's the real, immediately availible, silver quantity. And there is less silver availible than gold. Of course gold remain rarer, but since it's so sought after, gold tend to be recycled up to 98%, so any gold ounce mined stay availible basically forever. Silver is currently so cheap the industry don't even bother doing so.

Yeah that creek I also recall finding a heavy black metal lid which looked like it belonged to one of those wooden stoves from the 1900s. I know there's a lot of history about mining in Greenwood area. Never thought about panning until reading /pmg.

Incidentally, what should I use as a material for custom moulding? I want to purify and cast my own shapes. I have so much 50% I've picked up cheap as hell I could purify.
