I’m a physician too. It’s a brutal job no matter what specialty you choose, save for a couple specialties. Get out while you can. You will also be exposed to covid. It’s not worth it

Anesthesiologist here. What this guy said. Enjoy spending every waking hour studying in years 1 and 2, studying and working in years 3 and 4, and working 100-120 hours for 5 years in residency. Unless doing nothing but surgeries is your life's calling you will regret this decision. Attending work and salaries vary pretty widely based on the specialty but the call and work hours still suck

And I do make about $500k a year in a specialty that's widely regarded as low paying. So I got that going for me. Also I never get woken up at night. Most medfags are just low T cucks who don't know how to negotiate.
