Is this where the term suicide stack came from?
Is this where the term suicide stack came from?
yes, that and the Zig Forums post about selling eth right before the massive moon
I lost 0.8 bitcoin back in 2013, by the time it hit 18K I was over it.
I bet the number of people who made it from crypto is smaller than you think
i discovered bitcoin when it was $2.80 OTC (there weren't any exchanges). i almost went all-in, but decided to start a business instead. fuck. my. life. i dont know how many bitcoins i could have accumulated over the last 10 years. maybe 100,000? maybe even more if i got into alts. god damn i fucked up....FUCK
>he fell for the sMaLl BuSiNeSs meme
I remember this post. Very sad. Stay positive anons.
I wonder will people be doing the same thing reminiscing about how they could buy at 10k when bitcoin is 10 million a coin a decade from now?
I still remember when we used to jokingly give Bitcoin around on Zig Forums because it was so worthless. Fuck, how times have changed
Weak hands get the rope. I spent at least 5000 BTC on weed between '12 and '14. I didn't take the rope I learned my fucking lesson and don't touch my LINK.
>I wonder will people be doing the same thing reminiscing about how they could buy at 10k when bitcoin is 10 million a coin a decade from now?
it probably will go to 10m. fucking fuck fuck. whats 10million times 100,000 btc? kill me
btc is like the IRL version of partyhats from RS
Same here. Before mtgox was up and running I bought btc through virwox. No its not really a crypto exchange as they didnt exist. It was an exchange for the game 2nd life. I bought 40 dollars worth of bitcoin. Which was about 20 bitcoin I think. Theyre still somewhere on a wallte in a hard drive somewhere
honestly if i had 6K bitcoin at one point and sold them all i'd probably kill myself too. ALWAYS keep some just in case in moons. suicide stack is not a meme.
Some guy posted a screenshot from a movie and said whoever guesses the movie gets $10 of bitcoin.
The first two replies guessed the movie but didnt have btc wallets.
I didnt know the movie but copied their posts and included my wallet.
That bitcoin he sent is worth over 2k now, ive still got it
>10 million a btc
180 trillion dollar market cap. lol. maybe if the price of bread is 10 thousand dollars a loaf.
I've seen a lot of old threads like those user, right back to when they would give away 10btc, or a 100,my memory fails me. I knew it was valuable but I was a child and didn't know any better. Unironically that's why I never paid it attention until 2017, to me it was that joke people would give away on Zig Forums and buy drugs with. I don't have any regrets about it, but maybe if I had a 100 and forgot the key I'd feel very differently.
or like 3.1 UND (FUND) damn fuck inflation desu
i remember people were giving away tons of dogecoin too when it launched as a joke. i just ignored the threads.
more so this, there really are only a few significant wallets holding any real value, most of them are exchange wallets anyhow
A classic. RIP that user. It will happen with LINK too.
I've spent 79btc and lost 2btc on satoshi dice. This kid will be me when btc goes to 1mill.
Just
Most of people who have been in crypto for a while had similar experiences. I remember in late 2017 crazy altseason that I was holding 50,000 oyster pearl (bought at 0,005 usd). The price started to pump and in the range of 0.4$-0.5$ I sold most of my stack, knowing that sooner or later everything would plunge. Two weeks later I sold, oyster rised to 4 usd for some days and kept a value over 2 usd for some weeks. Instead of making just 30,000 I would have made 150,000 just by holding two more weeks.
I remember this as something funny, no regrets, because at the end I made very nice profits that I invested in paying the down payment of my actual home.
RIP Brother
guys you can still buy ESH

You are a retard if you think BTC will ever break it's all time high ever again.
It's broken technology. Growth is stifled at a 1MB block, meaning it can't scale and grow and therefore the usecase is limited to being a speculative pump and dump asset.
In order for Bitcoin to grow to these prices, it requires mass adoption. Which is something BTC can never accomplish.
lol i hope you have a stack, bro. good luck with the fud.
This. Cant wait to be in the /bsv told you so general/ threads
>told ya so general
trips confirm
fuckin hell. i was shilling bitcoin to friends and relatives back in 2013. i was swimming in litecoin when it first came out. i've got like thousands of them lost in wallets and gambling sites. i eventually just dumped it all in 2014 and invested in fucking vanguard mutual funds, what the fuck. when it went up in 2017 i had nothing, maybe half a bitcoin and 25 litecoins. i was getting messages from people i had sent it too who ended up with little fortunes, setting up college funds for they kids. i've been so depressed over it for a few years but eventually you get over it and have no choice but to accept it. i throw all my spare cash into crypto now lol. it's kind of a problem, but i'd rather lose it all than miss out again, no question
>trying to relate 0.8 to 16k BTC
Sometimes when I need a laugh or two, i visit plebbit and sort by controversial
user, i...
I think people who are clever enough to hold for 5+ years and not sell at $10 or $100, are already clever enough to make in life with more traditional means
>29 with 50 years of life ahead of him
That is oddly specific.
