I don't believe in some of my stocks but own them because of diversification. Stuff like MMM or PG. Don't get me wrong, these are quality businesses, but I don't have any passion for these companies so buying more of their stock has become tough.
Would I be better served to cover the diversification issue with an index fund? Make it one third of my portfolio and be done with it so I can focus on my core conviction buys.
