That guy was right and your numbers confirm. When you bet on earnings you are not only betting that company will beat and their nav will be good, but also that the chart moves in a bullish way on that good news. I'd like to say the only thing certain about earnings day price action is volatility but you can't even have that. It could be dead flat you don't know.
